Game Day Washington Commanders at Dallas Cowboys Postgame

So Dallas lost its last 2 games to backup QBs? And they all looked better than Rush.

It is hard to believe this season is over for Dallas. But 7 wins is one more than I thought they would have.

Actually they chased Jay Daniels out of the game because they are making him look bad that should be more encouraging they'd have to face a recent very high draft pick recent starter someone who's played a lot of games in the NFL that came in and won a game against a lot of our backups and I mean what do you want a cookie for stating this it means nothing what you just said means nothing they played all their starters we ran their starting quarterback out of the game and then yeah when the game was all but meaningless to us they won on the last second throw Oh my we should be quaking in our boot of snow this washington's team is not better than this Dallas Cowboys team went healthy they are not..

Mariota is a lot like players that come in and they can win games like Nick Foles did they still have that Ryan Tannehill he could do that if we were really looking for a backup that's who we should've got but you're whining about the wrong stuff.... We have been severely injured all year one of the worst teams facing injuries I mean look at how many injuries we had and still were competitive we're very competitive Washington should be embarrassed because they lost against us and they took every second to beat us no we chased their cornerback out of the game he was living a little bit but Marcus Mariota is not mincemeat and neither is another very high pick from the Pittsburgh Steelers that ended up with a starting team this is like saying Sam darnold and Baker Mayfield and Geno Smith when people lose to them they should be embarrassed no these guys were all picked high and they had high hopes they failed they moved around but ended up they can play good games when they're asked to with the right players around them..

By my count if the Cards beat the 49ers the Cowboys have the 12th pick in the draft. Not sure what happens if the 49ers win. SoS decides whether Dallas or SF gets the higher pick.

This is how the NFL works. And despite whatever the Cowboys do, it’s hard to overcome these little things that people may not notice. With 1:15 left on the screen to Ekleler, his forward progress is stopped. And he is pushed out of bounds going slightly backwards. Yet the ref decides he got out of bounds. That saved Washington a timeout and/or at least 20-25 seconds

In the Green Bay/Chicago game, Chicago throws a quick screen to their WR who has it knocked out almost as soon as it hits his hands. Yet they ruled it an incomplete pass. The past idk how many seasons I’ve seen hundreds of “catches” be ruled incomplete bc there was not clear possession, two or three steps a football move made etc etc etc. Even on catches that were clearly caught and the ball was punched out. We’ve all seen it. But because it was the darling Green Bay Packers who needed a win today, this was ruled a fumble. It’s infuriating to watch

ONE OF the worst twelve wins season teams I've ever seen they needed everything to beat us in our backups talk about garbage time

seriously I don't know who washington's playing but I don't expect to see them doing much in the playoffs they barely beat us hey we playing with a bunch of backups my man I don't think people realize how many backups they had to face and they almost lost to us twice

Meaning they'll probably make it to the SB

that's for damn sure Washington is not better than us they're better than our backups for sure I like that people think the gap is really big no if Washington would have had that differential that the eagles had against us this year then maybe they can talk but I'm not worried one bit I gotta tell you looking at all these games we're really competitive with our backups I'm not worried I think in a healthy year we're still competing for the top spot in this division next year that's a fact I just hope it's not with Mike McCarthy being the offensive coordinator I don't like him at all I don't like the way he calls plays and he ends up our head coach that's fine but this dude needs to go as an offensive coordinator

Colts are up 3 in OT against the Jags. They are a team in front of the Cowboys in drafting. Root for that lead to hold.

49ers and Cardinals is the last remaining game with significant W/L draft impact. Assuming SoS holds, root for the 49ers.

Everyone should be celebrating this loss. A win would have destroyed our draft and likely saved McCarthy's job.
