Actually we beat those Buzzards three times last year, including that playoff win, but I get your point.

It doesn't bother me when fans of other teams get mad about something like that cause it's just par for the course.

I bet they play well early.

I just dont think they can play well for a whole season. they usually play terribly somewhere around november and with the cast of whiners they have assembled I am not sure how they handle a couple of bad weeks.

much like when parcells was here, shannahan will never be to blame up there.

it is already set up in washington with the format that if they win its because shannahan is an amazing genius who just knows more about football than anyone else....and if they lose it will be because he doesnt have his players yet.

Its the same as parcells here, I love parcells but he had a setup here that always complimented him placed blame in other areas. I guess that is what happens when you are extremely good at your craft.

anyway, with that group of whiners, if they lose a couple of games, particularly division games the media in washington will blame individual players and not shannahan. I am not sure with the egomaniacs they have in that locker room they can handle that.

I dont see johnson, portis, mcnabb, hall, haynesworth etc standing up and accepting blame. that cant be a good thing in your locker room.

Ha! You should hear the smack they're talking about beating our "overhyped" squad in the first game this season! I swear these Deadskin fans here in DC are delusional! But it's par for the course pretty much as it pertains to the maroon & canary yellow supporters!!

I don't think we should be favored to win it all myself. Right now, New Orleans deserves that honor, and Minnesota should be a Super Bowl pick ahead of us if Favre returns. (Could make a case for Green Bay as well since the Packers beat us.)

Now, if they are complaining about Dallas being the favorite to win the East and do better than any East team in the playoffs, then they are just being stupid.

So, I guess I agree to an extent that we're overhyped.
