Well put.
Besides... the Commander fans would be hard to deal with if they lucked up and beat NE.

I don't care how much I hate that, and believe me I hate it, I cannot root for a Division rival to beat them. If they play any other team, I root for the other team most likely. Even the 49ers or the Cardinals, both of whom I loathe. Against our Division rivals the choice is so easy it should be called "slut."
Go Patriots.
YoMick;1731461 said:I agree. Let them go undefeated all the way to SB. Let us beat them.
Nothing else would matter. Nothing. To you, to me... to anyone. Bottom line. The SB is the only that counts.
Sidenote: I have a feeling that the Pats are going strong and hard for he undefeated season. They need something to dispell(if you will) the spygate scandal. If they win all the games and SB then they will say... "see... we can win without the videotape".... I believe that Belicheat has his team thinking WIN THEM ALL. Lets get the undefeated season.
They're at the Giants in Week 17, which could be a meaningless game for NE.mickgreen58;1731493 said:it is highly likely the Patriots would give every other team in the division a loss.

Imagine if the division comes down to the last game, with us in Washington and the Giants at home against the Pats' scrubs.

Nothing could be sweeter than to see the looks on the pats and their fans faces knowing they came so close only to walk away as the losers. As for hating the Pats I don't, I do think they got off the hook to easy but I have seen this from fans in the past who ever is sitting at the top everyone hates be it the Steelers in the 70's, 9ers in the 80's, Cowboys in the 90's and now the Pats in the 2000's. For me while I'm not fan of the Pats I do respect that teams ability because in the end I love quality football and have gotten past the days of sour grapes and acting like a sore loser when things don't go my way

Yeah, I wonder if Belicheat ever considers the possibility of his key players getting hurt while running up the score. That being said, I hope they expose the Deadskins for the overrated bunch that they are.CrazyMonster;1731562 said:I know is f'ed up, but I would love to see a NE victory in which they are still throwing the ball w/ Brady up 24 in the 4th & then Sean Taylor just ends Brady's & NE season with a vicious hit.

If the Pats were to lose the Super Bowl due to an injury to Tom Brady, all it would say to me is that their backup QB isn't good enough. I mean, really, they couldn't find anyone better than Matt Cassell? Are you kidding me? Surely there was a wiley vet like Brad Johnson who was willing to take a little money, sit on the bench, and have a damned fine chance of collecting a Super Bowl ring.YoMick;1731584 said:FOR ME... I dont care how we get to win a SB... if Brady is hurt and we beat them or whoever without their star QB or player.... IT WONT MAKE ME NO NEVER MIND...
