Wentz asked some tough but fair questions in an interview...

And the team president, a guy who collects paychecks from Dan Snyder, has the nerve to call the reporter “unprofessional” while threatening his access to the team...

Reminder, Cowboys nation: we’re still MUCH better off than these losers.

I mean it was pretty unprofessional and any team exec would be within their rights to not let someone like that near their team lol.

agree we're better though

I think the questions were fair. How he phrases them could have been a little more uh "vague" and alluding to the topic of how secure Wentz feels as the team's starter. But whatever, next year the Commanders will cut/trade him so in the end it doesn't matter.

I'm surprised at the hate the reporter is getting in here. I didn't think the questions were unfair. They weren't questions one might ask in polite company over dinner but that wasn't the context. Reporters should be, and should be allowed to be, provocative.

The ones who ask good questions and don’t just kiss the players’ butts? To each his own.
It’s how he asked them and how they were phrased. I just feel like there would be better ways to ask the same questions.

That’s just me though and I do realize that I might be in the minority that feels that way. Like you said, to each their own.

The reporter has no class or professionalism. I thought he could have asked the "tough" questions and come across respectful.
How did he come across as disrespectful? It's well known the Eagles or Colts didn't want him, how would you have liked him to phrase it?

When a reporter asks Jerry Jones a tough question, Cowboys fans applaud that reporter.

Why shouldn’t a Washington reporter be allowed to ask Wentz tough questions?

Wentz actually handled the questions like a pro and gave the right answers. It’s the team president who ended up looking like a clown.

First of all he doesn't have a right to ask questions in a disrespectful manner. Reporters can ask difficult questions or do follow ups with respect.

Here is an example of how he could of worded the bit about Eagles and Colts not wanting you.

What changes have you done to to your approach that your past teams may have seen as a deficiency in your game?

Yeah, he could have asked the questions in a different tone. It was a little rude. Got to like Wentz's professionalism. I like Wentz as a person. I wouldn't want him as my QB but he seems like a good dude.
