I realize it's only tuesday, but im listening to the John Thompson shows as we speak and they're an hour into the program and not one word on this game. They opened by talking about Kevin Garnett, then wizards preseason basketball, and now it's colorado rockies baseball. Are you kidding me.

This is a city the lives and dies with the skins and now all of a sudden the skins are getting ready to play the juggernaut pats all is silent on the sports radio airwaves. It's hilarious how they've managed to just dance around the topic.

I'm affraid I dont see the reason for your post???? The John Thompson show often touch on many subjects during his show

I live in the DC area as well...so you must understand the drill...the Cowboys must lose for them to be really excited...and the Commanders must have a chance to win for them to feel like talking football...neitehr will happen this Sunday, so they probably wish they can advance the calendar 1 week

Thompson always focuses more on roundball for obvious reasons.

He's a big Skins homer, though, and he'll talk football from time to time.

Listen later on today and you'll probably hear more about football from Czaban and Andy Pollin.

All that said, after last week's squeaker and next week's beat-down, they are definitely holding off on "skins to the super bowl" talk this week.

Actually the one guy I like listening to because he isn't too Homeristic is Riggins on AM 730. Thompson does talk about a lot things but he does have Mitchell on staff now and they talk a lot when the Skins are supposed to win. The were talking a lot of smack when the Boys played the Pats.

Riggo's fine to listen to but I just can't stand any of his co-hosts.

The funny thing is thompson wasn't even there today. It was just kokin and brian mitchell. I expected to here some skins talk right from the start. When micthell had his own show his first hour was devoted to the Commanders. They know what's coming and they're trying to avoid it.

Yep!!! Thompson wasn't there but he called in and interviewed CP when he was on. Have you noticed they don't really allow BMitch to talk much with CP. BMitch doesn't pull punches and gets into the players arse. :lmao2:

Doc Walker has to be biggest homer on Washington radio! I was listening to him as my son and I were coming home from his football practice and he actually admitted that a loss to NE wasn't bad as long as they didn't get "Cowboyed" (meaning a 21pt loss, I'm assuming)! Even my 10yr old son was surprised by that statement! I'll admit, he did put a few callers in their place when they were bad-mouthing Newman and Ware by calling them bums and such, but whenever I listen to him he always seems happier w/ a Dallas loss than a Washington win! Makes me :ralph: !!!
