His play has been declining the last couple years. Wasnt a possible shortened career the reason why he fell in the draft

I dont know if he is a full time player anymore. However, Id love to have him as part of a rotation. Especially if we drafted DT's on day 2 that arent expect to be instant impact guys

True. Its part of having to cut good players because money was pushed down the road. The Joneses are outsmarting everyone by not doing this.

Of course they end up having to cut guys anyway per non performance since they usually extend the wrong guys, and wait too long on the right ones while the price goes up.

In all seriousness, we need all the help we can get at DT and he would be a big upgrade so I am down with adding some more beef up front

I imagine JJ will “selectively” avoid signing Allen in order to “aggressively” pursue sitting on his yacht and getting drunk

There are several talented DL available that are all going to make legit contenders even better and widen the gap even further.

We will look at the 5th round of the draft.

That way our 2031 cap is in order.
