I would think maybe he could get deeper faster on passing downs.Hes quick. How do we know hes a bust when he never plays?Watch Belechick swoop him up and he will start and be a star.

no if i remember right Carp and Hawk were the OLBs and the MLB was drafted by Buffalo, i can't think of his name at the moment.

I agree though that he could make a good ILB in my opinion, and he is quick, and i think he could do well...

but i have to wonder what the coaches see that prevents him from ever seeing the field other than special teams

Im not sure but given the way Akin Ayodele played today and really hasnt been much of a factor all year it isnt really encouraging that Carp cant sniff the field.

I thought he was supposed to be a Mike Vrabel clone instead of a Brian Bosworth clone.

Would Carpenter make the all "looks good in pads" team? Just a question.

He probably does bad in practices because he's too tired from all the porn flick tryouts from the night before. :D

Correct about the the OLBs, but incorrect on the ILB. That would have been Anthony Schlegel (a Texas boy). He was drafted by the Jets in the 3rd round. He has since been release and is now with the Bengals.

I wonder about that also. Ayodele is sixth on the teams in tackles, no more than an average player and Bobby Carpenter can't move him out. What does that say about Carpenter.
