I was watching Underworld, Inc. on Netflix. The cops busted a guy for selling counterfeit Tide and Downy detergent. After it was all said and done, because they rushed the operation, he never actually put a Tide label on the product, so their case was substantially weakened. It just got me thinking about all the time and resources that were spent on this operation, and how those resources could have been better spent on changing the world for good. I don't want to make this political, but it seems like we spent an inordinate amount of resources on futile projects.
