in order to clog up bandwidth and prevent too many crazy fire the whole
team posts i offer this story which may or may not have been noticeable
on TV.

very few people in the stadium had any idea why the NY defender ran the ball into the end zone when it bounced off Wittens foot. i dare say none at the opposite end (where i was) did.

all of a sudden when they start the review they show a replay of it on the Video board.

At that point the ref reviewing could have just left the camera and going solely by the noise made by the crowd he would have known what call to make. I have never heard a home crowd make that kind of surprised and disgusted sound in my life.

by the way...have you ever seen so many bounces go one teams way ?
i am not even saying the Giants were just lucky cuz they beat us and we beat us too, just saying that bounces, deflections, tipped passes...whatever Sunday night just didnt go to us.

Not in one season much less one game. Not those kinds of bounces.

We just weren't meant to win that game.

I'm still waiting for a game where we get all the bounces..

I don't know we got a lot of lucky bounces in the past most notable is against the lions a couple of years ago when Romo fumbled into someone else's hand.

Okay that's 1 in the past 3 years.

Let's not even talk about that bounced fumble in front of Ken Hamlin in that Baltimore game:rolleyes:

Bad karma?

Again, why Im not worried. A good QB had an off game. (I thought we were going to close our eyes until December?)

We got some tough bounces. Ive got no real complaint about penalties, the back to back ones that took NJ from the 10 to midfield were questionable but could have been easily avoided by smarter play.

What really matters is both lines can dominate. Thats whatll win us 11 games.

Agreed. I was there. I couldnt believe the "bounces" that were going that way. BUT if Tony was making better decisions the bounces wouldnt have helped decide the game.

I agree. Romo was off target and helped lead to the TO. No doubt the Giants got some good bounces along the way, it is not that often a ball bounces off a players heal right into the hands of the trailing coverman.

Cowboys have to put this behind them and get ready for the next game no sense crying over it. Dallas will be facing a desparate team who will be trying to prevent falling 0-3 so Cowboys better get over this past game quickly.

bad bounces and bad luck had nothing to do with why we lost the other night:

1) Romo made two awful decisions on two of the picks, the 3rd (the bad "bounce") his guy was wide open on a short throw, he had no pressure and throws the ball a yard or so behind Witten.

2) Bad bounces and bad luck had nothing to do with the bad coverage and all the missed tackles

3) Bad bounces and bad luck had nothing to do with no pass rush

4) Bad bounces and bad luck had nothing to do with Felix Jones' inexplicable fumble when he was hardly touched on the kickoff return.

We deserved to lose.
