The truth is Bryant is no Irvin..not in the same class and never will be. Irvin was a complete receiver that came to play hard every game and l don't recall him ever complaining about anything. Class FOOTBALL player.

I wasn't around the internet in the 90's with the SB teams, can't remember if there was an internet back then.. but anyway.. Did Irvin get blasted like Dez does? Dez is a choir boy compared to Mike. Let the man alone and let him play his game. If he spends all his money, talks trash, says foolish things, etc what does it matter to you. It doesn't hurt you. Now if he is getting suspended and hurting the team, that's different but remind me again the last time Dez was suspended by the NFL??

Irvin was the emotional leader of the 3 Super Bowl teams. Dez is not a leader. He is pretending to be one now that he is sidelined, but other top players just ignore him.

Irvin had most of his problems after the Cowboys had won 3 Super Bowls. Dez has not won jack squat.

Irvin didn't disappear in games. Dez has been a basic no-show in many games.

Irving didn't hold out and was always in football shape when it was time to play football.. Dez held out and got completely out of shape that off-season. The highlight of his unprofessional behavior.
