I'm not reading the draft thread because it's way too long. Frederick was picked in the 1st round. Only pro bowl centers get picked in the 1st round. If he isn't that after they passed on Floyd then it's a bust. Even if he's average, he's a bust

I am fine with What the Travis Frederick @ 31. I didn't like passing on one of my 3 favorite players in the draft Shariff Floyd. Also don't feel the 'Boys got enough compensation for the trade back. If he can be a solid starter for 6-10 years he can't be considered a bust @ 31.

Actually, based on the first few minutes of that video, I like his play at center better than I do at guard. Of course, wasn't that his first year as a starter? He should be better now than he was then.

While I'm not a fan of the player selected (where he was selected), I'll never fault any team for going OL/DL in round one. I do feel like they got hosed in the trade though.

For years I've been just wishing the team would do something about the interior OL that has cost us so very many games. I'm sure as hell not going to complain about them using a late 1st rounder on a good interior OL prospect. Floyd doesn't fit the defense we're implementing, and with this trade we might get 4 contributors instead of 3.
