Chris Sims from Tampa.

Favre will probably get traded in the next couple of days to Tampa for Brian Griese and a draft choice. Tampa will then turn around and trade Jeff Garcia to Minnesota to a draft choice. Tampa will then trade Chris Sims to the Cowboys for a draft choice. Follow the bounding QBs.

and you guys will be stuck with Aaron Rodgers:laugh2:

the guy better be pretty good because Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy are basing their jobs on it.

I think Kansas City ought to make a play for Favre.

I don't think it would help them. They are re-building are probably a year or two away from being a playoff team. They need to know what they have in Brodie Croyle. Favre could help them win an extra game or two, but they are not good enough to get to the playoffs with him this year. I doubt he plays more than two years and this may even be his last.

This Bills could benefit with Favre this year. They are on the cusp of being a playoff team. I just don't know if they would be willing to have their young QBs sit and watch this year.

What young QB who has seen some playing time is going to be willing to have Favre come in and be the instant starter? They may claim that they are fine with it, but that may change come contract renewal time.

So let me get this straight...the coach who likes to stockpile QBs will, upon getting Brett Favre for a year and nothing more, most likely, will promptly trade away all three of his other QBs so that next offseason when Brett retires for good, after Tampa Bay not being anywhere near as close to a championship as Greenbacy, with whatever rookies they draft?

Ummmm....how bout no?

They're not looking because currently there is nothing to look at. If they thought, for even one second, that Greenbay would actually trade Favre to them they'd dump the 'we're sticking with Jackson' plan in a heartbeat.

Favre will have to go to a team with a Holmgren-WCO disciple.

So start figuring those coaches out (Chucky in TB being an obvious choice, if Mooch was coaching I'd throw him in, Andy Reid but he has McNabb, Jim Zorn in DC but there is no cap room) and go from there

The Bucs an obvious choice

Childress of the Minny comes from that tree (OC under Reid)

Holmgren in Seattle but that ain't happening

So really, it comes down to Tampa and Minny, where he could actually have an impact, where there is a vet team with a QB need, and a potential playoff contender
