Quinn looks VERY fast off the edge, my lord! He looks very good and is going to be a handful with Lawrence on the other side.

aTony Pollard glides through seems and has very smooth and quick feet. If you watch him closely, he keeps his feet moving in small steps very quickly to slow down for anticipated cut. so instead of just slowing his strides down, he actually goes to taking very small quick steps before he shifts another direction. What makes this very impressive to my eyes is he seems to have an incredibly smooth and fluid speed burst after his short stride motion. I believe this is how get gets from A to B so quickly in traffic, it's very very impressive and reminds me a bit of Emmitt Smith.

Don't hate me for this one, but Tristan Hill looked way better than I thought he would. He looked very fast for his size and physical as well. I personally could see some of the hype surrounding him on a few plays. I say be positive with Hill and give him some time to develop, he has some really nice physical tools.

Our Offense and Dak and maybe Moore was playing around in the first half, taking some shots and Dak trying out different throws or routes to see what he could get away with. He admitted to getting a little greedy. They came out the second half and played the way they are supposed to play and blew them out.

The first positive is that we won by 25, and incidentally covered the spread. As far as quinn, never paid much attention to him before. Looks like mostly a speed rusher. Didn't see much else so we shall see how he pans out.

LIke I said, I watched every play again and could see how Quinn is by focusing on him. He was a blur getting around his man, unfortunately he got taken out of plays because the QB stepped up but man on man, there is lots of things to get excited about in the future. I really believe this defense will improve as season goes on, and don't underestimate some trades happening either to improve the Dline. If you watch the plays Quinn was in, he had great pursuit of the ball as well.

Agree on the first two points.

Hill pretty much got stone walled all game. Not sure where you are seeing this speed thing. Are you talking about the screen pass where they allowed him to run by like a chump?

Watch the highlights, he was in pursuit of ball with a fast motor, and he was also doubled quite a bit. Sometimes the play just doesn't come your way as you know, but I saw a guy who looked like he belonged. We all have to remember he is a rookie and it's way too soon to assume he is a bust. We did this with LVE for a while as well, and look how that turned out. Taco obviously had more than enough time to get his act together, but hill is just starting to learn what it takes to play in the NFL. Like I said before, I came away impressed watching him closely on each play as opposed to let down. He is a body that we need and he has lots of time to improve and round into shape by seasons end.

What impressed me the most was his attitude. He seemed like he wanted a sack more than anything in his life. You wanted someone to bring life to this D-line, that is Quinn. Man, he was playing every down as if it were the superbowl. I think he was a bit rusty and I expect him to be better down the line. Quinn is going to help D-law as well.

Lol anybody with eyes could see his speed of the edge. They doubled him a couple times and he got stoned, but his first time out he definitely showed burst and bend. Even Dlaw referenced it.

You have to ignore some that don't know football.

I am not sure they were playing around, to me, it looked like Dak was trying to get the ball downfield too much instead of taking what the defense was giving him.

If Miami doesn't miss a chippy field goal and fumble inside the 10, it could have been more like a 6-point victory instead of 25. Remember, the Ravens beat that team by 49 points, and New England by 43.

Much to clean up, but obviously the Cowboys played like they had a free bye yesterday, which they did.

Quinn was good. You can see the talent.

Well yea they were trying to get 60 for the zone

Dolphins were running heavy protection schemes to double or help with DEs. The DT need to step up more pressure up the gut the more 1 on 1 the DEs get.

Ravens and NE played a different QB who couldn’t sustain a drive.

Quinn pretty much takes the outside and comes back to the qb, he was a half a step off several times. He was so close to getting a hold of the pass so many times.

I'm sorry, did we LOSE?
