Watching an old show as if for the first time

I always go back and watch old shows i loved as a kid, some hold up and some don't. The Twilight Zone, Star Trek and the Outer Limits all still pass the litmus test.

OMG, the Sopranos! It's good, but it's brutal. There's some violence that's tough to watch, but it's part of the plot and not gratuitous. I just saw the episode where his therapist is attacked in the parking garage. Totally horrifying!

BB ruined it for me. Can’t be topped, at least it hasn’t been topped. Watched it a second time but not the same. Fantastic series though. For me, best ever…

I've never seen it, but man, with so many great reviews of the series I don't why I haven't started yet. I'm probably afraid I'm going to get sucked in and forget my day-to-day duties.
