The Good news:

Bears defense really stepping up, the two rookie DT's Harris and Johnson are causing the OL problems, collapsing the pocket and giving McNabb no time. Two sacks already.

The bad news:

Quinn at QB has 1 first down, and a series of 3 and outs...typically starting with bad field position the Eagles are ganging up on Thomas Jones and making Quinn air it to move the chains. He is not doing this.

Also both Bears starting CBs are out. By playing a very deep cover two the Bears are giving up all the underneath stuff allowing the Eagles to move it steadily.

Not much chance of an upset here I fear.

Bears turn the ball over, quick td for Eagles 13-0

Quinn is 2 for 7, 19 yds

Jones has 7yds on 6 rushes

Quinn is rushing his passes, not setting his feet and generally looking uncomfortable.

Eagles not having to blitz, Bears offense completely impotent.

Our defense will eat this Bears offense alive.

Unfortunately this game will be a complete blow-out

Well. Eagles move to prevent defense, take Kearse off the field and Bears finally move the ball. Get into red zone, misfire and settle for field goal.

16-3 at the half

Meanwhile, back in the twilight world of UK NFL scheduling, the powers that be have chosen for the second live game of our night the offensive points fest that will be the Jets at the Dolphins.

:(

Suppose I have to cheer on the Dolphins so they have less chance of a record worse than Buffalo's, but fear it will be like watching paint dry.....

When you get games like that don't you feel like you've been kicked in the gut?

Other than Jets and Dolphins fans no one wants to see that game.

still, there is a silver lining..we get MNF live, and Cowboys are on three times this year

and also get Giants at home and at Packers live as well

5 times in one season is more Cowboys coverage than at any time since Johnson, Aikman and the superbowls

there's a big Cowboys fanbase in the UK, and it is fantastic to be able to see the games more!

Eagles are playing a bad Chicago offense today. I know it is not their fault, but when are they scheduled to play a good team on offense and defense?

Week 6 against Carolina. Not sure they are a good offense though.

The Eagles are playing a Bears team without Brian Urlacker. That is huge. They have 3 rookies on defense. Their secondary is pretty injured. The announcers mentioned how they are missing alota their secondary cuz of injuries. The Bears QB Quinn really sucks and he has not started a game since 2001. I can see why he hasnt started a game since then. The Eagle only TD so far came off a turnover on a fumbled punt by RW McQuarters. Give the Bears some fo their key players to start and the Bears would be winning this game. Also throw in the refs helpin out the Eagles to. but that is nothing new refs bein there for the Eagles.
