i downloaded the torrent, and i got the sound to work on windows media player, how to i get the video?

do i need to install some special codec? or something?

Torrent videos are usually encoded with the XVID codec.

You can simply download and install the K-lite codec pack and it will have both DIVX and XVID in there as well as a crap load of other codecs.
