I'm so sick of the "Dallas is everyone's Superbowl" line.
Its such BS.
What has Dallas done to even warrant such a statement?
Talk a big game? Have a great offseason? Until Playoff success is injected into the equation, I doubt teams are any more jacked to play Dallas than they are anyone else.
I used to think it was true because it seemed like every team played Dallas really hard and had excellent games against Dallas.
Anymore, I just think it is what it is. Nothing.
I respect your opinion. Let me differ.
There is no quantitative proof that everybody plays up to a higher level when they play the Cowboys. Also no concrete proof that every team -- whether the Cowboys are having a great or lousy year -- tries extra hard to beat the Cowboys.
I just feel it. I just know it.
That is how it is, so learn to live with such sayings.
Also, the Cowboys are like the U.S. of A.
Lots of folks around the world live up to our standards and want to be like us.
Some hate us because just who we are.
And they always bring their best to the table. It's just our burden to bear in both cases.
