Man this kid can play he has good foot work. It would be great to see him with a star on his helmet in that #12 jersey.

yea think

in my wildest dreams I could never see us WASTE picking RGIII

He'd be the first pick in the draft if not for Andrew Luck.

Count me in on that UNO I would do anything I could to get my hands on LJ though kid is gonna be a stud at the next level.

Moore, Jones, Luck, RGIII, we have some good QB's coming out soon, hopefully one does land as a cowboy.

Not sure if there could be a better name for a cowboys qb. Not saying we should or shouldn't draft him, but the name alone would be intriguing

Landry is not nearly as good as Bradford was IMO. You also have to consider the plight of OU QBs in the NFL, all of which have been coached up by the same staff in the same system:

Josh Heupel: wins NC, doesn't last through TC in the NFL
Nate Hybl: statistically one of the top qbs in the country....no NFL
Jason White: wins Heisman, statistical monster...no NFL
Sam Bradford: should've won NC, top NFL pick, looks like a developing star

so hard to tell which category Landry will fall into. I suspect he'll play in the NFL and probably start somewhere eventually but I don't get the sense he has the elite gene like Bradford seemed to.

Landry Jones is physically superior to Heupel, Hybl, and White. I thought he was overrated the previous two seasons, but his play so far this year has really impressed me.

He was actually named after Tom Landry.

He's solid and so far, is a winner. His performance in the Red River Rivalry and undefeated bowl record speaks for itself. However, for the Cowboys QB of the future, I'd prefer someone with more mobility and can scramble.

I really like RG myself. I would personally love to have him.

I get the love for Landry Jones though. I'd be happy with either.
