is just like watching the cowboys.. all the talent in the world and absolutely no direction. any surprise they are coached by the other guy jerry almost hired. :bang2:

their defense is just like ours... a secondary full of first rounders but they cannot cover anyone. no pass rush, no fire.... where did wade come from again?:bang2:

what why go for the 2 point? your offense just had a nice drive. nice for kc to give up the season. they could still go 9-7 and have a shot at the playoffs.

Well when Wade Phillips was there they were one of the best defenses i've ever seen. I'd like to think that's why they suck on defense now. And that guy....uhhh...what's his name? Shawne Merriman? I imagine he's a huge reason for their defense sucking lol. He's just one of the most dominant linebackers in the game. The defense is built around him.

The Chargers are dead last in pass defense, and Shawn Meriman is not there.

The Cowboys' pass defense is ranked higher than its run defense. We want teams to pass, so the pass rush can be unleashed.

I want Jason Campbell passing all night.

Chargers have the same problem that we do. They have a coach that isn't good enough to get the most out of all the talent that he has handed to him.

I like Norv, nice guy, good OC, but he's a terrible HC.

They play down to the level of their competition.

The Cowboys are/were injured.

Both teams really chap their fans backsides.

You're right the Chargers have the same problem we do. But it ain't the coach. We're both hurt. Have lingering injuries.

I was shocked to see the Cowboys top 10 in pass defense. I don't know if anyone else has noticed but the deep ball hasn't been killing us like we're accustom to. And this is all with Pac-Man and Newman out. There's promise there.

Why not go for 2? You just put together a nice drive and have some momentum. Your chances of winning in OT are no better than if you go for 2. Why prolong things?

because if you win the toss you are in rhythm for another score. defense has been playing well too. winning and losing on 1 play is crap compared to an overtime.

Unless someone heard Mortenson on ESPN, the Chiefs were without at least 3 or 4 starters on D to start the game and lost a couple more during the game. SD outgained them and should have won by more points but they shot themselves in the foot big time. Herm obvious thought that was the best chance to win. The Chiefs season is in the crapper no matter what so why not?

They've won one game in the past 16 tries. They're winning 9 straight to win the division. They did what a 1-7 team is supposed to do.

That's because we can't stop the run. Teams don't have to pass.

It's amazing because at the beginning of the year and just about all of last year, we were one of the top teams stopping the run. Than Portis came and he rarely if ever has good games against us. It would nice to get our groove back by shutting him down next week.

Injuries certainly do not help, no doubt, and that is a part of the issue just like it has been with us. But the Chargers are now into their second straight year where they're having to make a run during the second half of the year in order to just keep themselves in the playoff hunt and have a shot.

Norv is a good guy but he's a terrible HC.
