NFL Game Rewind is $30 but probably not worth it to only watch one game.

I DVR most games and have a standing order to family and friends to not call me on game day unless someone croaks.

And even then, if they croaked because of the results of the game, do not mention it.

I also watch even the bloodiest losses to the very end. When they start shaking hands after I push the stop play button.

I'm not kidding, Sarge. My dad will call and ask, Did you see that?

Last time he did I told him it better be a space ship from Zebulon he is talking about or I'm hanging up.

Do you do it because you can watch them faster on DVR (no commercials, halftime) or because you are always unavailable on Sunday? I DVR a lot of Mavs games because I hate to miss them, but find the time advantage to be another good perk. But Mavs games are more under the radar, and I have even watched them a couple of days later without being spoiled on the outcome. No way I could even make it through the first hour of work on Monday without the football game getting spoiled.

Up until recently I worked graveyard, so I would be going to bed at around 7 to 8 am and sleeping during the early game. There was not a certainty that I would be up in time for the start of the late game some Sundays. So, like you, I would miss parts.

But after a while, even on days I stayed up, I would DVR because I like motoring through the commercials now. And have the ability to move back and revisit a play or series to see how they were attacking or being attacked.

I was off on Mondays, so I would have to be careful what station it was set on when I finally did turn on the set around halftime.

I used to watch the game and listen to Brad Shame, but they are so out of sync now that this has supplanted listening to the Dallas broadcast and not the "neutral" broadcast.

The reason I laugh is because I can relate.

Yeah, right! You might not want anyone to bother you during a game. but I bet when that Beer truck pulls up outside, the game means nothing to you at that point!

We got your game, bro...we got it!

If you dont have a DVR, you can get NFL Rewind..............only downside of rewind I have noticed is that individual games are not available until all the games have been played. In other words, you have to wait until all the games are played before watching the Cowobys game.

Not sure what airline you're flying, but Southwest has free Dish TV during the flight. All you do is connect to whatever network they have and you can watch whatever the national games that are airing at that time.
