How are the dc.com articles so poorly edited? I mean, it's sports journalism so I'm not expecting Shakespeare, but why don't they have some unpaid college intern or something proofreading them. Fixing typos at least. It's baffling.

Arrowhead hasn't been a tough place to play for quite awhile. Half the crowd will be Cowboys fans. Last time they played at Arrowhead it was Cowboys fans causing the Chiefs to false start.

The article says "is not expected to play, and that appears to be the Cowboys call." I won't be surprised if he ends up playing if he shows up at practice and looks great.

Dallas shouldn't be counting on him to play until it sees him in action.

If he doesn't play, I wonder if the lineup will be Smith-Leary-Frederick-Free-Parnell or Smith-Leary-Frederick-Mackenzy-Free.

I imagine they will move free back to RT and start Berny at RG so when waters comes in its a smooth transition and not moving pieces around.... Long term free as RG and Parnell at RT I think would have happened

Guess that's the plus side to depth, the Free move to guard was just a contingency that we probably won't need anymore well hopefully.

If they knew there was a deal to be had with Waters, they were probably rotating Free in at OG to see how he could play there in an emergency. Earning two weeks' worth of suppositions that they were juggling the roster unnecessarily at the last minute.

yeah but he could have missed all of TC and still come back in time to prepare and be ready for the first game. The Cowboys have been back from Oxnard for a couple of weeks now. Why wasn't this completed last week?

That's what I'm thinking. No use going through with the Free experiment, unless they feel starting Bernadeau for even a game is a bad idea (or maybe that they'd like to see how Parnell does as the starting RT).
