Except the 152 yards they ran for against us earlier in the year. While I agree with your assessment (and especially against the 49ers), at least for the night, the run defense looks improved versus what we had prior to Hankins.

Tampa finished last in the NFL in rushing this year. We were about the only team that couldn't stop them.

I think besides Joseph, Gallimore is easily the biggest disappointment on this years team. Bohanna while injured and disappointing was a 6th round pick and expectations there were considerably lower, apparently with good reason. The defense needs a difference maker at those positions that they dont have right now.
Joseph play on special teams is underrated... he needs more awareness at CB but he does bring value on ST... just not what you want for where he was drafted (not his fault). Next year I think next year without offseason drama... he'll get on page. (Talent is there)

I was more then a little surprised recent picks Gallimore and Bohannon were both healthy scratches for the Bucs game . Watkins to my mind has been a solid young vet ever since the Texans let him go , think of it as a trade for Maliek Collins who ended up in Houston ,

Hankins in a little trade value to Vegas was missed on the middle when he was out and really along with OSA who’s been a good third round value since he came from UCLA . This trio is nice to have to build with .
Osa had a really good game. He was pretty disruptive, giving us some inside pressure.

Bohanna's been my pet cat the last two seasons, but I gotta say, I'm a little disappointed in him. Thought he was going to take a step up this year.

May have gone with Golston over him as far as being active because we weren't as concerned with Tampa's running game. Golston is a decent run defender with more ability to get some pressure from the inside. Of course, the fact that Watkins is playing ahead of Bohanna does give some reason to be disappointed. If Bohanna was better, he'd be relegating Watkins to the bench. Same with Gallimore, who just is not a real good run defender.

This should show the Jones idiots what even decent DT play can do

Please sign Payne in the off season
They should have offered a 1st to Washington for Payne during the trade deadline. Another foolish non-move by this inept front office.

It will be interesting to see what they do with the DT rotation against the 49ers.

I wonder if Gallimore or Bohana get activated for that game.

He's been pretty trash and thinking about him vs Philly where he was consistently blown off the ball 5 yards, see ya.
Big disappointment, but 2020 seems to have been a bad draft class for DTs. Derrick Brown is doing okay but Kinlaw has been injured a lot and has not really lived up to expectations. Most of the DTs in that class are like Gallimore. Madubuike has been pretty good in Baltimore. DaVon Hamilton has been solid for the Jags. They were taken 9 and 12 picks before the Cowboys picked Gallimore. Just be glad they didn't take Roos Blacklock in teh 2nd round like the Texans did.

Yeah I’m not throwing around 1’s too lightly . How about another one in April to takeover RT opposite Tyier Smith your long term left tackle and build a dominating wall around # 4 .
