Watkins Pick Six

The main thing to take away from this play is the fact this team is having fun again .

Hard to beat a team when they become one and love and respect each other..I think Coach Q has a lot to do with it.

Definitely read Hill's eyes (Oof, creepy movie flashback!) and jumped over to try to block the pass, and ended up catching it. A lot of guys would've been so surprised they caught it that they would've panicked and forgot to run. Great play!
Not only that shove of Hill near goal line as if he is a fly , LOL

That was a holy crap! HOLY CRAP! Moment.
For both us and him in real-time at the same time.
I want to see one of our offensive linemen catch a deflected pass and take it to the house for 99 yards that would be a great play

So many things about this play to like.

Watkins started on the inside, and Goldston was outside. Not certain if this was a planned stunt, or Watkins was watching Hill's eyes and set up. But Watkins moved to the outside.

If you watch, the receiver is crossing, and Watkins was moving with him at the line. Hill could not see Watkins because he was hidden behind McCoy (78) for the Saints.

Not sure how sophisticated the defense was to roll the tackle out to block the passing lane. But Watkins showed great hands on a ball that surely was coming in hot.

Hill made a valiant effort to cut off Watkins, but then 71 just stuck that bear paw in the QB's face.

"Not today, shorty!"

And yes, Troy, he had a dance. It was called the dog pile by Basham.

Maybe the best part of last night.

I think they got called for illegal formation on that play. How did they miss Basham clearly being held? That looked like a hold to me.
