We do not know what Dallas is going to do contract wise with Dak, Amari or Bryon but suspect they will end up signing two of them and franchising the other. Many will disagree because they don't like Dak or Bryon but really it doesn't matter as fans because we know that is what Jerry and Stephen are going to do.

As to what we do in free agency, it is and has always been a crap shoot. Of our own guys like Quinn, A. Woods, M. Collins, A. Brown and others it will depend on how much they are willing to take to see if they will be back.

Robert Quinn DE 30 - could see him resigned at the right price
Jason Garrett COA 54 - believe he will be kicked upstairs and Lincoln Riley will be next coach
Amari Cooper WR 26 - they will resign him by end of season
Randall Cobb WR 30 - chance to resign if money stays the same
Jason Witten TE 38 - think it depends on draft or free agent signing
Cameron Fleming T 27 - going to be gone IMO
Sean Lee OLB 34 - either he retires or signs for the minimum
Christian Covington DT 26 - gone unless he takes vet minimum
Byron Jones CB 27 - probably either resigns or we franchise him
Jeff Heath SS 29 - team like him but think he goes
Joe Thomas ILB 29 - good chance he resigns a 2 years deal at what he was getting
Tavon Austin WR 29 - believe he goes
L.P. Ladouceur LS 39 - retires and we finally keep the kid we have been bringing to camp
Kerry Hyder DE 29 - probably resigns at vet minimum
Maliek Collins DT 25 - second half of the season will determine his fate
Xavier Su'a-Filo G 29 - probably gone
Justin March OLB 27 - probably gone
Darian Thompson FS 26 - maybe vet minimum
Dak Prescott QB 27 - probably signed before end of season to a contract that will dominate the web
C.J. Goodwin CB 30 - probably gone
Daniel Ross DT 27 - probably gone
Anthony Brown CB 26 - he will be an interesting case but probably gone
Kavon Frazier S 26 - maybe vet minimum
Blake Jarwin TE 26 RFA - gets a contract offer
Cooper Rush QB 26 RFA - gets a contract offer
Adam Redmond C 27 RFA - gets a contract offer
Brett Maher K 30 ERFA - resigns for whatever we offer
Antwaun Woods DT 27 ERFA - resigns for the contract offer
Tyrone Crawford DT 30 Last year of contract - probably gone

We know in the draft, Dallas tends to go for the BPA as according to Will McClay and what is needed. To that end, it appears that what is needed is Safety, DT, TE, OT, CB and DE.

These are guys I would like us to get in the first six round.
1. Grant Delpit S LSU - definitely an upgrade to the secondary, question is how far would be would we have to move to get him.
2. Walter Jones OT Stanford - could be taking Smith place in two year but give a quality backup right away.
3. David Moa DT Boise St - dealt with injuries last two years but a lot of talent
4. Colby Parkinson TE Stanford - great height, great hands, good value here
5. Mekhi Brown DE Tennessee St - former Alabama guy with attitude, sleeper guy that could really pay off
6. Keith Washington CB West Virginia - underrated player on a bad team

Just early guess on where it seems we could go in April. Of course what we do in free agency will matter and we know that our signing in free agency will not start until the second or third week of it no matter what we want.

I think Delpit could be possible. He has slipped somewhat this year

1. Grant Delpit S LSU
2. Walter Little OT Stanford - Little also flashes some nastiness as a pass blocker, and it is not uncommon to see him grab a rusher in the chest and throw them to the ground with ferocity. Little sets a physical presence and is a real battler who makes it a long day for edge rushers to match up against.. 3. David Moa DT Boise St
4. Colby Parkinson TE Stanford

i'd take that any day of the week

If the Cowboys are in position to grab Delpit, safety will be one of their last concerns.

No shot he slips all the way out of the top 15, let alone to 20something
