So I'm an ohio state homer.

QB in the 1st round?
It’s been nearly 40 years since they took the QB position seriously.

Why would they all of a sudden start now?

History predicts that they will go garbage bin diving or thrift store shopping when Dak is done.

It gets to a point where you may have no choice. If this team gets to a conference championship or SB next year I can see them taking qb early.

27th in the first round? I dont think the Packers will be that good. I expect both Cowboys and Packers picks in the teens, maybe early 20s.

Why would they take a QB if they are picking 27? Picking there means Dak had an excellent year.

in the old days they would sit a QB two or three years before making him the starter; that was a good idea back then before the salary cap and its consequences.
I still think any QB picked should sit at least his rookie year and learn.

You are probably right but QB 1st round would give a lot of the fan base hope. Jerry another year older and hopefully wanting one more even if he has to or forced to back off more. Gotta attempt to put some stock there after all these years.

Troy took a beating his rookie year but you could see the flashes of brilliance as he grew in the game. We haven’t a QB in his universe since he left.
