Okay. Still the season is a ways down the road. LOTS to get through before it (finally) starts.

But. If you had to make one fearless prediction today about the Cowboys, for this coming season, what might it be?

Here is mine: The Cowboys as a team will challenge late in the year for setting a new NFL record for points scored in a season. (And fall just short...)

My prediction is that the 'Boys will have 4 players with at least 50 catches.

Predictions huh? Going to stay away from the OBVIOS for the most part. Too easy. Well, here goes.

1...Holland is a camp casualty, loses his spot to Travis Bright as Bright can play some center.

2...Doug Free will not only replace the departed Flo, but will actually be an UPGRADE by a pretty good margin.

3...We see ALOT more screen plays this season. 3 wide formations with the w.r's driving off the D.B's, ball goes to Felix......WATCH OUT~!

4... OUTSTANDING special teams play this year. Lots of return yardage.

5...Buehler fails as field goal kicker

6...In a hotly contested battle Williams wins the nickle l.b spot in training camp. Replaced by Sean Lee by midseason, Lee excels.

7...Mike Jenkins has a pro bowl season, leads Cowboys in INTS

8...Lissmore is the real deal. By seasons end he is seeing plenty of time in the rotation as a backup displaying strong passrushing skills.

9...Spencer continues to shine giving the Cowboys one of the most feared tandems of outside passrushers in the NFL

10...Marcus Spears shuts up his detractors with a solid all around season. Keeps his starting job over Hatcher/Bowen

11...Roy continues his slide, by midseason its clear to see the Cowboys best three wide receiver set is Austin, Bryant, and Ogletree. Cowboys stubbornly stick with Williams thru most of the season until FINALLY the change is made.

12...Cowboys REGRET not making a move for Atogwe. Safety play remains sketchy most of the season. Only the fierce passrush of the Cowboys masks the problem......temporarily.

13...Cowboys lead the NFL in scoring.

14....Jerry and the rest of us get our wish. Cowboys play the San Diego Chargers in the Superbowl at Cowboys stadium. Close game until turnovers make the difference in big COWBOYS win!

15...The day after our big superbowl win a Giant asteroid strikes the Earth killing all of its inhabitants. Sometimes life can really be a BEACH.....AND THEN SOME!..:D

That doesnt happened until 2012

1. We will be scouring the waiver wire for a FG kicker by our bye week. Beuller will remain as the kickoff guy.

2.We won't be nearly as fortunate with injuries as we were last season. Depth on the OLine and at CB will be tested and stretched all season.

3.Miles Austin has another monster season.1400 yards 10+ TDs.

4.Spencer and Ware combine for 28 sacks.

Ogletree does not crack the top 3 WR rotation. Finishes the season with less than 10 catches.

Dez Bryant cracks the starting lineup before the season ends.

1) Cowboys defense finishes Top 5 in Yards and TOs.
2) #1 in Points and Sacks. (72 sacks)
3) No team scores 30 points on us and only 4 manage 20 plus.
4) Ware crushes the NFL sack record with 25.

4) We run more 3 WR sets.
5) Austin leads the WRs with 80 receptions.
6) Bryant is the #2 by years end and finishes with 64 receptions.
7) Williams and Ogletree end up with similar playing time, 30-40 receptions.
8) Felix plays all 16 games and leads the team in carries with 240.
9) Cowboys don't lead the NFL in scoring offense. Our defense will be too good for that to happen.

10) Romo gets serious MVP consideration.

11) Cowboys finish with the leagues best record.

lol last season I predicted Miles Austin would have a moderately disappointing season and only catch 20 passes. Maybe I better think of somebody else to predict disappointment for :D

My prediction is that the first game we lose this year ... it will be like the sky is falling all over this board

If we don't look like a seriuos super bowl contender after the playoffs (whether we get to the SB or not) Jerry will clean house.

1. Marion Barber will break his leg but will continue the season. Garrett will put him in whenever Felix gets hot.

2. We will still win games in spite of his stupid ideas.

3. We will play the winner of the AFC Championship in the Superbowl, be it San Diego, New York, or Indianapolis. I'm not sure which.

This is a fearless prediction.;)

- Tony Romo will throw more than 10 interceptions.
- Dallas won't finish more than 2 games over .500.
- Dallas won't have a winning December.
- Dallas won't win a playoff game.

Our QB and our star WR will set records of yards passed/caught.

to clarify that is Romo and Austin

Miles Austin will lead the NFL in receiving yards.

Jason Witten will achieve 90 catches in a season, once again.

Tashard Choice gets more touches than Marion Barber.

Lee is called a bust by fans in his rookie year.

Dez Bryant totals less than 500 yards receiving

Roy Williams breaks 1,000 yards receiving.

Romo starts every game of the season.

Felix spends 2010 injured most of the time.

Scandrick has more inters than TNew.

Emmitt Smith will predict more wins than last year.

Jerry Jones vomits in front of a national audience.

Patrick Crayton will continue to use the DMN as Kleenex.

MartyB scores 7 TDs.

Sicko takes one to the house for over 80 yards, sick run--makes Woody Danlzler want to slap his mother.

Romo breaks his own single season TD Record.

T.O. obviously still has ***** envy over Miles Austin, Witten and Romo making the playoffs.

Coach Phillips goes on a diet and inspires the team by being a loser.

Spencer gets 15 sacks.

Ware gets 15 sacks.

Brooking will talk about how to kill someone, manually, in the huddle.

Midswat returns to CZ in 2010, reincarnated.

Romo_2_Austin is torn between his new man love for Dez Bryant and the username he came up with one day while glancing at a newspaper.

Crayton becomes a Philadelphia Eagle, and retires an Eagle.

The Commanders lose more games than they did last year.

Ware sacks McNabb 10 times.

Michael Irvin gets arrested on possession of a controlled substance.

The End.

I predict I talk alot of **** to any eagles/giants/deadskin fans

I predict I yell at my tv like it crapped on the carpet

I predict my chihuahua gets mad for dressing her in cowboys gear

I predict I will have a blast regardless of W or L's

I predict we play lights out with no more than 3 losses
