seems like some in the media wanna rag on FLO! the way I see it a few false starts and holding calls are worth Romo playing the entire season... A big guy like FLO, going up against some of the best pass rushers in the NFL, is not an easy task...I think wade hinted to that in his address.

If Flo doesnt get Romo killed he has done his job, period. Now in the past Flo used to get flags and get his Qb killed, with some help from Romo, I dont see that this year!

I don't think it is. All of those guys (left tackles) false start. Flo just does it a little more. That's what's so great about Romo and the passing game. They can overcome that once a game. In the meantime they get a huge road grader and solid pass blocker...I'll take it.

Haha, you jerk, this thread started out supporting FLO not arguing over who should start at left tackle. You're the one that even brought that element into it.

And if it's true his deaf in one ear, how could that NOT factor into false starts? Hopefully it's his left ear that's bad.

Yeah I see guys get tackled on a weekly basis that ends in a no call and Flo does nothing but actually block the guy and they throw out the flag.

Those refs really tried to take that game away from us. To bad it wasn't enough.

I would be curious to know what the stats are for the good/great LT in the league. See if Flo is ranking high, in the middle etc... re: False starts

The year he was injured we had no depth on the oline or a replacement yet. I think we have a young guy ready in the wings they have to play sometime. I am tired of Flo. He will finish out the year then we should let him walk in FA and start MC Q or one of the other young guys we drafted who ever is up to the task.

I do it every year. Flo usually ranks very well in run blocking, average in sacks allowed and below average in penalty yards allowed for left tackles around the league. I take a combination of those stats and come up with rankings and last year Flo finished 6th for all *left* tackles in the game last year. Although having Kosier undoubtedly helped him last year as Flo's run blocking stats saw a major boost with Kosier over when he was playing alongside Larry Allen the past few seasons.. Who would've thunk?
