What ways can we manipulate the cap to make potential moves work. We're so worried about money, yet we bring in the most every season. Something about that just doesn't seem right. Anyways, you cap guys, what can be done, other teams do it well! Please give your thoughts

Jerry should just pay everyone under the table and skirt the salary cap. The NFL already allows cheating with how it's refs call the games so even the playing field.

There is no such thing as the cap. It's a made-up excuse for owners to not spend money.

Look at the Eagles. They sign everybody, then get two first-round picks, then trade for whomever they want to.

The cap can always be worked around. Always.

Agree 100% , look at the Saints for the last 15 years. Rams, Eagles, Bills, Chiefs, Niners. If you have great players you can kick the costs down the road. At the end of the day it’s about trying to win the SB there is no award for being the best managers of the salary cap. TB & the Rams went all out and got a SB. Ram’s had a down year to clear out the cap but good coaching has them relevant.
Walsh has a quote from The 80’s where he says you are only competing with 4-6 teams every year to win the SB. Dallas over the past 25 years has not really tried to go for it. It’s not in Jerry’s philosophy to go and try to win. He is happy with his guys and 7–10 through 10-7.

Tell the person that flies on the plane to the games on Sundays to get on that same plane and make some moves

Assign them to longer contracts, you put the money down the road

There is no such thing as a cap? Why do you think the Chiefs let Tyreke Hill go? Or the Packers let Adams go?

This is a great time to make this argument

If this is really the case and jerry has the most cheddar to throw around why is he paying Dak? Mahomes is clearly the best right now, and has been. Why pay Dak at all? Is it because he sells the most jerseys or throws the most touchdowns? Think I may know the answer to this one…

Eagles just lost their best interior pass rusher in Hargreaves lol. Eagles lost a bunch or starters on defense I don’t know why you guys think they don’t have a salary cap lol.

Don’t let him lie to you there is for sure a salary cap I don’t know what guys are going on about.
We know there's a cap and that you just want to be right about everything, but there are also ways to manipulate it that's all i'm saying

You think this team doesn’t manipulate the cap? Why do you think Dak’s cap hit is 59 million next year lol?

I just think you guys are clueless on this one. I’m not a capologist either. It’s a bye week. I get it. Trade deadline is here and it’s time to pile up in the Cowboys happens every year.

But spewing misinformation or being misinformed ain’t healthy either. The Eagles aren’t just “manipulating” the cap lol. They lost Kyzir White, almost lost Slay, lost CGJ, lost Hargraves, lost TJ Edwards…..

He’s not manipulating anything he’s simply making moves lol.

Because their owner didn't want to spend money on them. Hence, my point.

If they wanted to, they could pay them all. You can work the cap however you need to.

Owners have just given themselves a built-in excuse.

Look at hurts contract, they didn't do some manipulation with that deal?? The going rate for qb's these days are 50 million or something near it, yet his cap hit was only something low. It happens all the time. You realize if they don't do something with these contracts on these teams you'll have NOBODY but a qb an expensive OL/WR/edge rusher and that's it!
