Brian Broaddus was a pro scout, and he openly says the cap is not real. It's an excuse owners gave themselves.

Look at hurts contract, they didn't do some manipulation with that deal?? The going rate for qb's these days are 50 million or something near it, yet his cap hit was only something low. It happens all the time. You realize if they don't do something with these contracts on these teams you'll have NOBODY but a qb an expensive OL/WR/edge rusher and that's it!

They didn't do anything special with Hurts contract the difference between what they did with Hurts and what they did with Dak is that Dak's contract was signed after the franchise tag. Hurts still was on his rookie deal when he signed his contract so yes when you add his rookie deal to his 255 million dollar deal it looks more favorable. But the Cowboys did what everyone here wanted with that. They wanted Dak to "earn" his deal rather than sign him to a 35 million dollar deal......

But ultimately the contracts aren't that different.

Dak's cap hits have been 17 million, 19.7 million, 26 million......they haven't been 40 million a year or whatever the media has been feeding you.

Jerry should just pay everyone under the table and skirt the salary cap. The NFL already allows cheating with how it's refs call the games so even the playing field.

You're acting sensitive. And that's fine. Its some guys on here who get sensitive....especially the ones who seem to be intimidated by me having Bun B as a avatar. When people bring that up I already know the sensitivity will follow right after awards. I assume everyone here is adults but I know some are sensitive then others.
