Has anybody been watching it? The finale is next week I am not sure if they are going to have another season or not. I really enjoy the show not a huge M. Night fan but I really enjoy this show.

Yeah, I've been watching it.

It's been a decent show. Started out a little slow IMO but the last couple episodes have picked up steam.

At one point there was talk about another season, but I believe that's been squashed.

All 3 books (in which the series was based on) will have been covered by all episodes. If they were to do another season they would have needed new material which is easier said than done... case in point "Under the Dome" which I've watched since season one. As goofy as that plot line has become, they should have ended it at the conclusion of season one.

Yeah, I like M. NIght's stuff too... except the "wind making people want to kill themselves" movie. Other than Zooey Deschanel, the plot behind that movie was a cluster.

Is this show based on the book Pines? I read that book several years ago if it is. The book was pretty good.

So the 2nd and 3rd seasons of Under The Dome they've been winging new material?

No kidding... much better in season 1. Seasons 2 & 3 have gotten progressively more convoluted.

I haven't read the books so don't spoil it for me. I binged the first 9 episodes in the past two days. Now I'm waiting for the finale tomorrow night. Not a bad show. I'm a big fan of Matt Dillon and I don't mind M Night. I'm hoping there's some type of twist in the finale because they revealed everything in episode 4. It was interesting in the beginning because everything was so mysterious. That's what I like about M Night movies. You spend the whole movie trying to figure out what the heck is going on. But it seems like they revealed everything halfway through the season. I'm really hoping the finale isn't just the Abbies jumping over the wall, killing a bunch of people, the townspeople fighting back, and the big stars surviving (Ethan, his wife and his ex mistress). That would be very predictable and disappointing.

A little, "Lord of the Flies" meets "Mazerunner"
