Hey all, long time viewer but first time poster.

So regarding the title - hear me out. I know it's tempting to be like the media and only talk about Ws and Ls, but let's go through the matchups:

2003 - we were in NE. This is the first of their great SB teams (2001 luckbox team wasn't that great). We had a surprise year and made the playoffs, but were just an ok team, on the road vs a great team. The game was a defensive struggle, I think 6-0 or 9-0 for nearly the entire game. No issues with this loss at all.

2007 - we were at home, undefeated. NE also undefeated, and this was their 16-0 year with Moss where they started off by blowing out everyone they played, a lot think the best team ever. They did show cracks later in the year, and obviously lost the SB, but I think we were 5 point dogs at home for this one. I think we ended up losing by ~17 or so, but did have a second have lead at one point. Overall, I think we should have done better, but given how crazy good NE was at this point, not a terrible loss

2011 - again in NE, another one of their teams that went to the SB. I remember us having a lead very late in this one, and got unlucky to lose. Likely 5-7 point dogs

2015 - Romo got hurt this year, we sucked vs everyone, so throwing this one out.

2019 - again in NE, I think we had a drive at the end with a chance to win the game? Got a catch overturned on that drive.

2021 - in TB, obv had the lead very late and lost on the last second FG

2022 - by far the worst performance, can't excuse this one at all

So in summary:

3 games in NE where they never lose. Had a really good chance to win 2 of them.

1 game in TB. Had a great chance to win.

1 home loss without Romo, bad Cowboys team

1 home loss vs the crazy hot 07 pats

1 bad loss

Underdogs 7 times and lost 7 times, but overall fared better than expected in most. I know in the end we only care about Ws and Ls, but based on the above I wouldn't say Brady "owns" us.

Hey, welcome to the forum! And you're right. Most of the time, we've been close but couldn't quite seal the deal. Hopefully this time, we will beat them. Go Cowboys

Welcome. With that type of thinking you will find a very warm welcome from the Dakazoids.

I think the OP's point is the Cowboys have had chances. TB12 is not unbeatable - ask Eli Manning. The key is taking advantage of your opportunities.

It's looking like the Cowboys will have another chance to take advantage of their opportunities vs Brady. That's all you ask for in the playoffs, a chance.

Yup, and all you really need in the postseason. One chance. I think now is the time for us to make that 0-7 go to 1-7.

This is embarrassing

So if we lose next week by 1 point against them, we should use it as some moral victory because we didnt get blown out?

I think the OP's point is that we have had chances. Now is the time for us to take those chances and turn them into wins.

I totally agree.

0-7 vs Brady. EASILY coulda been 7-0. Just got a few unlucky bounces.

I think we DOMINATE against him this time, and only lose 21-24, which EASILY could have been yet another hypothetical win vs Brady, if not for the fact that they scored more points than us.

BUT,....if they HADN'T scored more points that us, I think we would have had a decent shot of winning.
Hey, remember when Tom Brady destroyed your Eagles in the playoffs last year?

Maybe 0-7 against Brady but how many current members of THIS YEARS team played against him. Last year's opener and this years opener most likely. I think we'll be very competitive, it's up to our coaches to get them over the hump. We absolutely need to find a way to get the ball LAST. Can't have Brady doing Brady things at the end of the game.

0-7 isn't that bad? Lol, wow have the Cowboy fans standards changed.

Tom Landry once had 20 consecutive winning seasons, making the playoffs 18 of those times with 13 conference championship games and 5 Super Bowls.

Now we're diminishing losses to a QB Dallas has never beaten in 20 years.

In what field of competition is 0-7 not that bad? You can’t make this stuff up. Unreal!

A loss is still a loss. Brady knows how to pick apart this defense. Same with Rodgers.

I find it hard how you can construe loosing every single game we played against Brady, as not faring too badly?
I’d hate to see what your definition of badly was!
