Good reasons to sign Dak ASAP .
Good reasons to sign Dak ASAP .
Of course. Any decent QB can lead his team to a super bowl. Problem is, they need a team around them. A cap strapping contract makes that impossible.Do we know that though?
The price goes up if he has a good/great season, a bad season could cost him millions. He's looking to make 30-35mil a year now, but if he looks bad without Zeke again then he'll be lucky if he gets 14mil a year. The longer we wait, the more it will cost.
Get Dak’s deal done Jerry.
Or not sign the most elite talents.Possibly, but only w/ the right pieces around him, which will be impossible to attain if we start giving too many players maxed out contracts.
If he looks great without Zeke I’m all for opening the checkbook as we won’t need to resign Zeke. The price goes up if he has a good/great season, a bad season could cost him millions. He’ll need at least a top 3 defense to do it.Yeah , I don't know about everyone knowing Dak can lead us to an Superbowl.
Heck, I doubt it ... Under Garrett certainly he wouldn't .

Ya this guy looks like he knows what the heck he's talking about!
Not only Don't we know if Dak can lead team to SB we aren't even sure he can be winning QB without Zeke. Here are the numbers:
Dak record with Zeke is 28-12 (avg 362 offensive yards game)
Dak record without Zeke is 4-4 (avg 297 offensive yards game)
That data tells us Dallas is a very very average offensive team without Zeke. I have said this numerous times, this is the year Dak needs to show he can be focal point of offense so two things can happen: 1) he justifies huge contract and 2) less reliance on immature RB.
