From the Green bay loss to today I cannot tell you how much interest I have lost in this team. Really not the team but this front office. It is beyond baffling the moves and non moves that they make. They suck the wind right out of your sails. Im a 50 plus year fan and have seen a lot but this is the absolute lowest I have ever felt.

I mean this trade was the icing on the cake, a move just to make a move. We trade a 4th for Mingo and Hopkins goes for a 5th. Our QB is going on IR and will be out at least 4 weeks. We should be trading players for picks right now.
Since the GB debacle this franchise has fallen off a cliff and is taking us with it. I can never be a fan of another team, I do not mind a rebuild at all it is actually fun to see your team build itself up and get better each year ie; Detroit at this moment. But we are like a rudderless ship. No Plan No Direction and unless something earth shattering happens No Hope. When you have no hope its just a sinking feeling.
We are a bad football team right now. Our OL is the main concern needing a RT and RG next year while hoping the rookie LT improves greatly. Our DL is right behind, Lawrence is a FA as well as O Digi, Joseph and Fowler. We need better WR play being we lead the league in least seperation, Cooks and Turpin are both FA so thats CD, Tolbert, Mingo and Brooks. Not Good at all. Which leads us to the RB room lol which we have no one under contract but Luepke and Deuce. That is a lot of holes to fill.

Do you have faith that our GM can fix this? After today I think the thought of him doing anything is scarier by the minute. Don't mean to sound like doom and gloom but I have just about had it with them ********ting us. The problem is we are fans and this is our enjoyment, this team represents us to a degreee. But the Jones family look at this as strictly business and we are their cash cow. All they want to do is stay relevant enough to sell us a dream and they keep raking in the money. Which is their perogative it is their business. But when you look at the dollars spent and we are one of the bottom teams in spending and this is Jerrys all in.
Well he is the best salesman in the world. I pray for change but really do not see many bright days ahead of us.

I've been a fan for 30 years and this is the lowest I've ever been as well. We're locked into paying one of the worst quarterbacks in the league $60 million per season for the next two seasons, at least.

The players that we've resigned to long-term contracts all suck. Name one who's earning any of their money, besides CD. Some of these players need to be cut or traded otherwise this is going to continue.

Well if it makes you feel better we probably would still suck if we had the best team in the league as long was running.

We've had some of the most talented teams in the league for years and they just can't seem to act like professionals when it comes to big games and the playoffs.

Me too except mine started with the Green Bay loss…after Dez caught it.

Thankfully I’ve had a few years to accept our fate.

No you guys arent watching. After last year Jerry decided to rebuild. He let 10 players go snd didnt replace them. Its all about next yr right now that's why the rooks were going to play alot this year. Some have some got hurt. They arent bringing in a 30 something wr no more than a derrick Henry. Thats why they traded for a cheap wr with upside. They feel if all these young guys can get better at the same time it will create a huge jump in play by next year. Think of it like that then you will understand. Thats what this year is all about. They will draft a RB DT RG ILB S with the first 5 picks in the frst 4 rounds cause they will trade down a few tines. Oh yeah and BILL B is coming in.

If you all get a chance, watch Voch and Broaddus podcast on YouTube with special guest Jane Slater. Very insightful and scary about the Cowboys organization.

I hope your right. It could make sense but coming from Jones I just have zero faith right now. When you look at the overall picture he is a disaster. We signed Pollard and Steele coming off major injuries for top dollar. He could of saved money or waited. Pollard is playing well now for Titans but needed a year. Steele has not been the same since. Lance trade made no sense at all. I just have no faith at all that they have any clue what they are doing. I need to throw Schoonmaker in the draft as well with a 2nd rd pick while we have Ferguson. The list goes on but thanks for your insight.

You’re right. The team is absolutely cooked and not even in a position to do a halfway decent rebuild. It’s mediocrity from here on out as long as Jerry is in charge.
