We are cursed

There is no other explanation.

Once again we out gained, out TOP a team and lost.

Every time we make a play or a stop out comes a flag and by my count it is 50/50 at best that the call was legit. We can't catch a break.

Now we will either fight our way to 500 and not get an impact player in the draft or we will completely tank and with all kinds of talent and a high pick there won't be a season.

I feel like the kid on the pregame video crying, "I hate football!"

"We" aren't cursed, this team is just incredibly dumb and undisciplined.

Our chickens are coming home to roost. Jerry was given a perfect opportunity to ditch Wade Phillips 2 years ago, and instead opted for "continuity".

By many accounts the team was lax in training camp, and it's showing now. That's what you get with a Wade Phillips team.

The one saving grace is there will be a lot of empty seats at the stadium come December, which is the one thing - other than death - that could force major changes.

I don't think it is as much as the calls aren't "legit," but it is that they are on the tickytack line between legit and non-ligit where a no-call often happens for the other team. That Ball holding call on the Bryant return was one that was tickytack and probably not a hold. But, the Jenkins call was him interfering with the WR.

I'm beginning to believe that we are not as talented as we thought we were and I don't know if a different coach can beat the "stupid" out of these guys.

You're both right. We don't help ourselves for sure. But it's not like were catching any breaks here.

Never give up...that's all I can say. I saw some bad calls in this game. The Refs are against us?

I don't know...but something ain't right.

You nailed it. The Ball call goes right to Wade/Camillis. You can't tug at the players jersey, yet it is a act that so often goes uncalled.

Yet we're not getting those type breaks.

Jenkins was tough. But it's so indicitive of our season to date. Not a neccesary move by Jenkins but a call that could have gone done as an uncatchable ball. If the pass had any shot, I wouldn't feel like were so snake bit. I chalk it up to us not being good enough or discipline enough.

We're not getting those type breaks.

So if things go our way, does that mean we're merely "lucky" or "charmed"? "Cursed" is a word you break out when you don't want to hold coaches or players accountable, or admit that the team is flawed in some fundamental way.

Certainly there are flaws... Many flaws.

I believe you make your own luck. And you make your own bad luck.

Sorry, I think it's my fault.

Last year the wife and I went to the playoff game against Philly and it was great. Last year, when I wore a specific Jersey/t-shirt combo the team was 10-0.

Then during the following week my wife decided she was going to adopt a puppy. We decided to name him Romo since it's short and simple. We know what happened that Saturday, and so far this year. The dog is a curse. The one win against Houston this year? I decided to call him Schaub that week.

I wonder if this has ever happened? Has a team ever lost so many games in which it outplayed its opponents so roundly?

thank you ..that made me laugh on a otherwise stressfull day again because of our pittifull Dallas Cowboys

This team is turning in to the Dallas Mavericks. Their window has closed. The Cowboys is starting to come down.

If the Cowboys aren't careful, they are going to turn into the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders have long held a reputation of being one of the league's most undiciplined teams. Referees are human beings that can only be swayed by such perceptions and are much more likely to not give the Raiders the benefit of the doubt.

It's like a self-fulfilling prophecy played-out every Sunday.

The Cowboys are headed that direction.
