Before that it was Marinelli, prior to him it was Linehan, Romo, the refs, Kiffin, Wade, the slick ball, yada, yada, yada.

Next year it'll be a different excuse. The 21st century Cowboys never seem to run out of them.

Not making any excuses Dallas played very poorly on defense and that has to change. As for injury people can say what they want but when the entire OL was decimate with injuries and you are forced to use 3rd string player along the OL and a starting QB gone and you end up playing a total of 4 QB on the season then it is going to have a major negative impact on that team. Others can blow off injuries as they mean nothing but that is not reality you can't lose that many players and expect you will compete at a high level

Before Rodgers, Brady, Brees, etc... there were other great QB's that played the game. Right now, there are young QB's that will surpass some of their accomplishments. Brady, fell right in the draft, and was the recepient of great ownership, coaching, and management. His record appearances are great, but can be clipped by another QB, going forward. Montana and Bradshaw, went 4-0; Aikman went 3-0; there is no telling what either would have accomplished if change did not happen.
