Washington plays at Indy next week and thats going to be a loss for them. From there, the Skins have a bye and play us. So Washington will be 2-5 coming off their bye and will have their season on the line at home against us. Wonderful, just wonderful. Plus why do we get these long road streaks?

We played 1 home game[Wash} in 5 weeks counting the bye{ Jags,Wash, bye,Ten,Phi.] Then we go on the road or 3 straight[wash,Car,Ari]!!!!!!!! In a stretch thats 1 home game in 8 weeks. Thats seems not fair. Then you would think they would give us a cupcake after the 3 road games but we get Indy at home. Im glad now that we dont have to go to New Orelans, thats one postive.

Look at Philly,

Oct 29 Jacksonville 1:00pm 153 123
Week 9 BYE
Nov 12 Washington 1:00pm 144 144
Nov 19 Tennessee 1:00pm 119
Nov 26 @Indianapolis 1:00pm 147 158
Dec 4 Carolina

Thats one road game in about 6-7 weeks

Everyone plays 8 road games and 8 home games (well except the Giants, but that's another story).

If they have a lot of home games early, that means they more on the road down the stretch.

And we play 5 of our last 7 at home, it all equals out in the end, everybody gets 8 home games & 8 road games after the 17th week. Ecxept the 2005 Giants & Saints that is.

it seems the entire nfc east gets the shaft at some point in the season. And why, tell me why do we always go to Carolina? Did we not go there last year?

You just barely beat me on that one. Also, the Eagles play 3 NFC East games on the road in December. I'll take our schedule anyday vs. that.

And guess what if we finish in the same place in our division as they do in theirs this year, we will go there again next year.

I'm not complaining though, cause I live in NC and I will be at the game in 2 weeks. I hope they play here again next year when both the Panthers & Cowboys win their divisions. :)

That's a stretch Philly has later on this year and that's just not fair. We had a similar situation last year and it didn't go well.

It is our scheduled game in Carolina this year as we play the NFC South and in this rotation, we are in Carolina and Atlanta (we played them both at home in 2003 when we last played the entire NFC South).

Last year we just played in Carolina as we both finished in the same position in our respective divisions the year before and the NFC East played at the NFC South.

I don't like three straight road games, and while it allegedly evens out in the end in that we get five of our last seven at home, if we don't do well in our three game road trip (meaning go at least 2-1), we might be out of it before our home games.

The Eagles have the easiest part of their schedule up front. Their only tough game through week 11 is Jacksonville at home. The last 6 weeks, they have the 3 road division games in a row, plus @Indianapolis, with Carolina and Atlanta at home. Come the end of the season, we could easily be hearing the media asking, "How did such a strong Philly team collapse down the stretch?"

Our schedule is very freindly and works in our favor.
Two of our last seven games are on the road.........with alot of cupcakes at home. The toughest game is for sure Indy. 'Till then, we have a heavy road schedule but it's do-able.
If we can get to the Tampa game 7-3 or 8-2, we're on to something big. Carolina is a stickler, and again Indy, but 7-3 is possible. 6-4 or less, and we're going into December fighting for our playoff lives...........AGAIN!! The Tampa game is the barometer. That's the week we'll know what we have here.
The e-girls play four of their last seven on the road, including Indy and Dallas. Don't be fooled by their "win" against Dallas. The E-gals are an average team at best, lot's of holes to fill. The playoffs for them is iffy at best and of course, they'll NEVER WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP..............
The Giants don't fare much better. They have the Bears, at Jacksonville, Dallas, at Carolina, the Eagles and the Saints down the stretch!
Dallas should be fine if they play like they should............but that's the rub.
Who's gonna' show up every Sunday we still don't know.............

Our season, as we all knew many months ago, relies on us getting out of the first 8-9 games with a winning record. our December schedule is actually much better and in our favor.

Wash at Indy is not an automatic loss for the Skins, even though Indy will be well rested. Portis could run all over them.

I'm guessing alot of people around here fall in love with the schedule later on in the season. I'm also gonna take another wild stab that Philly fans are gonna hate theirs later. I'll take the strong finish over the good start every day of the week and twice on Sunday and that's what our schedule is set up for.

remember that the way the schedule is now setup is that a team only plays a team outside there division once every four years. Even then, on who's turf is rotated.

like four years ago we played Texans at Houston. We played them yesterday, so we will not play them again for another four years back in Houston.

A team that got Tenn and Houston in a three week span shouldn't complain no matter where the games are held.

That is only true for an AFC team, but not for an NFC team. You could end up playing the same team in the NFC every year if you keep finishing in the same place in their respective divisions. Like I said earlier if say both the Panthers & Cowboys finish in the same place in their divisions, the Boys will play in Carolina for the 3rd straight year. See for yourself, look at game 8 away:

If we want to be the best, we must play through adversity. Rather that is injuries, schedule or anyhing else. I'm ok with the schedule as is.
