Guys, for a good laugh go check out extremskins. They act like they are the NFC's version of the Patriots since they beat the Vikes.

There is even a thread of who they think they will play in the NFC Championship game.

If they make it, Seattle is going to beat them in the first round. Not sure where their confidence comes from.

The Deadskins are playing very good football right now. Like I wish we were doing. They are building momentum going into the POs, and their D is playing very well. They are currently a great example of the saying "it's not how you start, it's how you finish". This is why I want us to play "balls-out" as TO said a couple of weeks ago, and sweep them, but I'm not sure we can do it...

The Colts finished 2-2 in December last year. Worked out fine for them.

I like Tony Romo, but I think Peyton Manning has a bit more experience, and whereas we have Roy Williams they have a guy named Bob Sanders. And to tell the truth, if Chicago had had better QB play, they would have been World Champs, not the Colts. Just my opinion of course...

Anybody can beat anybody, especially in the playoffs.

We could lose to NYG or the Skins in the playoffs, .. that's just the way the NFC East rivalrys go.

The skins are playing good football.

I hope we can get our momentum back, and play like we did against the Pack, the Giants, or the Pats.

If we are healthy, and are on our game, I like our chances.

Also, Seattle is playing very well at home this year.

I don't think the Commanders beat the Seahawks in an away game.

I know that it would be nice to "rest" players for the playoffs, but I hope that Wade doesn't do that for a couple of reasons.

One being, with basically three weeks off, we could come out flat in the first playoff game.

Two being that I would love for the Cowboys to be the reason that the Skins don't make the playoffs.

Three being that I would love for the Cowboys to be the reason that the Skins don't make the playoffs.

Four being that I would love for the Cowboys to be the reason that the Skins don't make the playoffs.

:D :p:

This is what annoys me about 'Skins fans.

Gibbs' teams always seem to play pretty good in December. This is a pretty consistent pattern with his teams, i.e. it's nothing new. Maybe he has the midas touch in this month. But, due to it being a common pattern that really hasn't resulted in a huge amount of playoff victories and SBs (two in strike years), that doesn't prevent most 'Skins fans from thinking they are world beaters when they go on a bit of a winning streak during this time.

Personally, all I care about is my team winning. I don't really have a rivalry motive that drives me. But, since I live in the DC area, I get to hear a lot from these delusional 'Skins fans, so it makes it really easy not to like them. As we can see, there seem to be a few of them here who have created accounts just to pretend to be scared 'Boys fans.

Honestly, I'd rather beat them next week than let them have the opportunity to meet us in the playoffs. Partially, because any given Sunday applies. But, mostly because of where I live and what I have to live with in this area surrounded by their fans and the media.

Beating them with mostly backups would be nice. Personally, I don't think they deserve to get into the playoffs. But, I don't expect we will win next week. I expect a loss, because of my cynical/conspiracy side. I guess we can only wait and see what happens.

Five being a 14-2 record would be a team record... they've gone 12-2 before, and 13-3, but never 14-2...

I don't get it. I have not been impressed by the Vikings anyway. Stop the run and force their QB to beat you. Apparently, he can't do it. They have a heckuva rb tandem though.

 I never thought any team would disrespect their rival on THEIR OWN BOARD :sarcasm:

Seriously, who doesn't trash their rivals on their board. I'm sure packers fans do it to the vikes, chargers do it to the raiders.......etc

Many of those ES tools are already talking about beating the Cowboys in NFC Championship, as if they've beaten us this Sunday and beaten other playoff opponents. :laugh2:

Extremeskins is like perfection at a moment like this. Its much better than earlier this season when the team was in a lull. Its the love for the hate. Good light reading.
