Guys, in the last 3 games we have been blown out twice and barely beat freaking Tampa.

This was suppose to be the easy part of the schedule and we are getting blown out by anybody decent and barely winning against scrub teams.

I am starting to think that New York game was the biggest fluke ever. To play like that in the kickoff game and then get blown out in 2 of your next 3 games is just beyond belief.

Wade got fired when the team quit on him in Green Bay.........so far this year I have seen the team quit twice already, once in Seattle and tonight at home against the freaking Bears.............Just saying.

This team is closer to 0-4 then 3-1

If it weren't for dropped passes in NY, we probably lose. In the TB game, that fumble should have been a TD but was luckily called down. We just got lucky catching the Giants on opening night festivities and over-confidence. If we played them in week 2, no doubt we get rolled.

Sad, but true.

Garrett is crashing and burning so bad it is not even funny.

:hammer:

The man just seems to have no passion for anything, how can you expect your team to play with fire if your coach is a robot? God he makes me sick. How anyone could of played for Jimmy and coach this way, just drives me nuts.

He is stacking up one humiliating loss at a time?

For the first half, I thought - 'hey, we're still in this game! That's amazing, normally we'd quit by now'

And then the second half was a repeat of all the crappy, humiliating, embarrassing play we've seen for 5 years. These blowout losses always follow a pattern.

Can't run the ball. Romo goes back to pass. Mistakes happen. Defense appears to know what we're doing. Teams chuck it deep and complete. And then more mistakes when we have to come back.

We have seen this exact sequence from the team since Wade was here. Garrett does not know how to coach an NFL team. He is ridiculously overwhelmed by the task and it shows.

The guy's a smooth talker; a politician. Nothing more.

He's done nothing to prove his offensive genius label, his teams are repeatedly unprepared, outcoached, make too many mental mistakes, and he practically relies on Romo to bail him out of busted plays. When was the last time you heard? "Wow Garrett called a fantastic game?"

Yeah, um never.

I'd rather have him on the Ravens right now and have Harbaugh in his place.

Being a Princeton grad means you are book smart and maybe good at having a somewhat relevant corporate career. It doesn't mean you can coach football worth a dime.

Relax. It is a Process. Garrett is "Princeton Smart - Football Stupid"

LOL.........dont worry, everything is going to be all right, its only one preseason game. And besides, Dez is a beast, did you see that out of bounds one handed catch he made in preseason this year? LOL :lmao:

Demarcus Ware and Jason Witten deserve better.

I really wish both would get signed to a team that actually has a shot at a Super Bowl.

makes me wonder what his half time speeches are?

we have been getting worse under garrett for the last few years not just the last 3 games

I can't remember 3 straight games where we looked as bad as the last 3.

I was inclined to like Garrett, but it's becoming clear either that he is a big part of the problem or he can't solve the problem.

Between last year, with its epic collapses, and the 3 weak performances this year, I'm afraid we're seeing the real Cowboys: weak on both sides of the line, where games are won, and prone to horrible mistakes and lapses of concentration.

We can lay the blame on Jerry or injuries for the O-line and D-line weakness. Ratliff's return would help, but I doubt that there is any 3-man combination of down lineman who can be dominant on defense. And Ware can only do so much. But that's a historical problem founded in weak drafts over a period of several years.

But the coaching -- the attention to detail, the discipline, the play-calling, the play design -- are all on Garrett as the head man. He might not yet be Campo II, but he's heading in the same unfocused and floundering direction.

Let him finish out the season and go from there. Right now, I would be inclined to let him go at the end of the season.

I'll add this to the discussion about Garrett.

We've all seen Romo mask many of the OL's deficiencies with his mobility and quick thinking.

I don't see that trait in Garrett. I honestly don't recall him making adjustments or putting forth a game plan that masks the deficiencies of his team.

That's what good coaches do. Especially when so many of the teams are close talent wise, it usually comes down to a coach being able to scheme around his team's shortcomings.

Garrett has failed in that department.
