We are going nowhere with these Special Teams

Our special teams are killing us in field position and giving up points. We had another terrible punt and a good return that gave them a field goal and the fake that gave them another four points. In a tight game our special teams simply cannot be giving the opponent points. We were chasing those points all fourth quarter

The points they gave up this year cost us the Arizona game and the Steelers game and possibly this one. How many jobs does Wade have to lose before he realizes he needs to hire good ST coaches?

your worried about the SPECIAL TEAMS? MY god, you're an optimist. They're bad, but we've got a LOT bigger problems than the special teams my friend.

Anybody that thinks the Cowboys are going to the super bowl with this lackadaisical bunch, no matter what unit you're talking about, is spending too much time in the poppy fields. This 'team' can't hold it together long enough to make me think that nothing short of a miracle will even get them in the playoffs at this point.

Mr. Inconsistent Tony, 'I build my stats and QB rating in the fourth quarter,' Romo isn't playing well enough throughout the game to make the mistakes he does, and not put the Cowboys in a bind defensively. The defense was out there almost the entire game until the fourth quarter. Inexcusable. (I can't wait till Vela dissects those two homeruns by the Ravens. My take goes something like this: on the first touchdown run, the defensive captain told the troops, 'you three go thataway, the rest of us will go thisaway, don't worry about this big wide open field area here. They won't run that way, and anyway, Hamlin's got that covered.' .... Ok, so on the second touchdown run, the defensive captain told the troops, 'ok, this time, we'll go thisaway, and you three go thataway, don't worry about that gosh darn big wide open field area. They won't dare run that way again. And anyway, Hamlin's got it covered.'):blind:

If the Cowboys have any hope of beating the Eagles next week, they better go no huddle with Tony in the beginning, the middle and the end. Additionally, Jason Garrett better take that stick out of his behind, and get more creative fast, and make adjustments at the speed of light. Phillips, well, what can I say? He's got one good hand on the defense, and when it works the defense is a gem. Trouble is, he has two hands. So, the other hand spasms out and lapses occur. Big ones. Last night, the biggest lapses I've ever seen in my entire life.

Enough to get him fired? Yes, if he doesn't get into the playoffs. So, the Philly game is make or break 'em time for the entire coaching staff. Should be interesting to see how the Cowboys respond.

I'm going to go out on the limb here and make my first prediction ever.

Cowboys 38
Philly 17

Phillips coaches with two good hands, and Garrett spends alot time in the bathroom removing said stick.
