We are going to blow the G-Men off the field Sunday Night

Yup, I can’t make it through a day without a daily affirmation
You have the right outlook on life. Think positive, you get positive results - think negative, you get negative ones. Why go through life so negative, it must be miserable. I love football being back and always look forward to that first game all ridiculously hot summer long.

I put slogans on every mirror in the house. Things like “ I’m Fierce”, Im a hero, I’m smarter than I think and stronger than I know, I am loved, etc etc

I going to add “ The Cowboys will win every game”. Because I know how much effect that has on the games and the coaching staff and players can pick up on the slightest bit of negativity.

I also have an anatomically correct life size action figure of #4 in the game room. Before every game the neighbors massage his thighs and arms with essential oils so he doesn’t injure them during the games

Just things like everybody else does at home.

The Green Bay OLine during most of McCarthy's time there had a revolving door of replacement players but the replacements usually exceeded expectations.

Most of the Cowboys years with Garrett were the opposite...
What a different team did 10 years ago has no bearing on this football team.

I'll be surprised if the offense comes out rolling early. New offense, no preseason game reps - there's only so much you can do in practice.

Defense should be solid, offense will catch up eventually. Whether that is game one remains to be seen. Get out of NY with a win, pretty or not, and keep working.

I don't care about blowouts. There are no voters to impress in the NFL, at least none that actually matter. Just win, baby.

In lieu of the ones that want us to lose Sunday night. Or seem to want us to anyway. :muttley:

We will (could) blow away the G-Men. With or without one or the other or both Smith's.

MM will use some misdirection, and things will be heavy to the right, them, BOOM, hit a big play to the left.
Pollard and Dak will need to be on their game to counter any pressure from the left side. They can play 2 TE sets, give the left side help if needed.

Don't forget, we have a pretty good defense out there. Stop Barkley, force Jones to pass, not run. Set up our offense with good field position.

OK, so blow them off the field..we will see, it may not be a cake walk. But it could be.
The Cowboys can win without all three Smiths. I'm not worrying.

Everybody has the right to start any thread they want but to start a thread directly refuting a diametrically opposed one is just plain childish.

Is it to virtue signal? Does it some how negate the other one out of existence? Does it compel a victory?

Nothing will be said in it that hasn’t already been said, ad nauseum.
To be fair the thread was going quite nicely.

This is a low scoring game, nobody is blowing anybody out.

Neither offense is going to impress in game #1. This will be a defensive struggle.

Bright people are posting less and less on this forum.

Props, shabazz, for carrying on the fight.

Well, I would love us to win and I believe we can win, we should win but there's a part of me that know this is not going to be a blowout this is going to be a very close game...

I mean that we're missing the entire left side of our offensive line or even one of them missing and one with a bad ankle.. Plus Donovan Wilson game one. This is one of the issues that Kansas City had and they have Patrick Mahome but they missing Kelce on one side of the ball and Chris Jones on the other side of the ball it's game one anything can happen teams been preparing all offseason for you you're on their turf...
. And I'm going to also add the reason New York is a dangerous team right now is because they believe they're better ,they believe they can beat us, and they have not beat us in what ten straight? They're about as hungry team as you can think of it's very similar to what the lions just did to Kansas City very similar positions except this is a rival. So I believe this is the type of team that's very dangerous because they'll throw out everything in the kitchen sink to beat us...
PERFECTLY SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I see a very close game that could go either way. I fully expect the Giants to go all out and nothing would light a fire for their season than a win against the Cowboys. The Cowboys showed flashes with some of their young players in preseason, but for now I'm putting away what the Cowboys look like on paper. Haven't seen it yet and feel the Cowboys need to prove they are worthy of the praise they've had this offseason. At the same time, I have no reason to think they aren't contenders, at least not yet. Just ready for the season and can't wait for Sunday night!!
I don't know why people think this team can just blow out other teams, we like to keep things close, things don't always go in our favor. Big plays called back, pass interference/holding/bad snap/MISSED FG!

NY finished last year 2-5-1 in their last 8 games. They finished 16th in point differential.

They weren't that good last year. Even if Dallas' offense struggles, I don't see the G men hanging a big score on Dallas. If anything, I just think the Dallas offense simply has to not lose the game and just take advantage of field position and turnovers.

For people to be writing off losing the entire left side of our line is laughable.
Personally, I’m not writing it off at all. . I’m just saying if we keep the run game going and stick with it, it won’t be as noticeable having the back ups in there it’s much easier to run block than pass protect.

So you begin by calling people out instead of sticking to the subject at hand.? Interesting.
Who did I call out. Funny this is your take on every post from most. Instead of talking actual football.

I find it hilarious how offended this thread has made a certain group of people.
