from someone in the passing game

Im not necessarily saying they need to duplicate his production from 2009 (his stats were par thay year with both Owens and Bryants normals)

But we need a player in the passing game to become a consistent producer, as well as a guy other teams have to try and take away.

I know a lot of people don't like Beasely, but i think he can do it .

Under a different OC/HC playbook and coaching.

I feel like they have two legitimate players in Tavon and Gallup to do so, but it's hard to get them in rhythm when you're rotating WRs every play.

I don't think its one guy, once they have game reps together the WR corp will play a lot better. Its been there with Beasley and you see some of it with Thompson and Austin. Hurns and Gallup will get a lot more targets over time and Dak will be more confortable with them as the season goes on.

Tavon is going to be interesting to watch over the next few weeks. He is probably our most dangerous player, and it seems they may try and use him a different way than what the Rams did. They just need to use him more.

Gallup.....its hard for me to get behind a rook. I know players in similar draft positions have had big time rookie years (Keenan Allen comes to mind) but I never expect bell cow production from a rookie

Beasley had what 60, 70 catches in 2016 when we had more viable threats. Problem is I think he needs those viable threats to open it up for him

I dont know, man. I hope you are right about rhat being successful. However Im just a fan of the WR by committee prospects. I think we need someone in the passing game that can take over defense and force defensive schemes (at least to an extent)

yeah ... Jefferson Airplane

Thompson isn't spectacular, but he looked like Dez's go-to guy tonight. I think Gallup will develop and Austin is capable of big things. Not sure about Hurns yet. T-Will is T-Will. Beasley is the most reliable. Break out year? Maybe Butler if we sign him. Otherwise, I think we'll spread the ball around. Hopefully Gathers will be the answer at TE. Jarwin and the rest haven't impressed so far.

Thompson looks like the every down trusted wr so far. Of course a lot can change. He’s basically been what I thought Hurns was going to be.

okay Grace Slick
You're replying....... because?

You'll have to clue me in Gramps. Did this person play football?

Cause otherwise you're on the wrong message board, Slick.

I'm only 34 but I respect good classic rock... was just saying "Grace Slick" b/c she's the singer of Jefferson Airplane, who wrote the song "Somebody to Love"

was just a well-meant thing my dude. sorry.
