I am pretty optimistic right now. You say, why should you be?
Look at it this way: we spotted the Eagles 10 points, we spotted the Giants 12 points. After watching Romo's play tonight, yes, he did make mistakes, but he opened up the offense so much. He got passes to everyone. People who were an afterthought for Bledsoe - Witten, Fasano, Crayton - all were getting the ball. He is a player.
The defense did let down somewhat, yes, but I think that's gonna happen when you get completely disheartened by getting turnovers yet seeing your offense do nothing with the ball.
Romo will make mistakes, but he is the quarterback to lead this team. I think he will become more and more comfortable with the system as he plays more, and I also believe that the coaches will learn to use his strengths (the shotgun, something Bledsoe was horrible at).
It is going to be a hard climb, but we are only 3 and 3 and we have a good schedule for the end of the year. Don't get disheartened, things are looking up.
