I am pretty optimistic right now. You say, why should you be?

Look at it this way: we spotted the Eagles 10 points, we spotted the Giants 12 points. After watching Romo's play tonight, yes, he did make mistakes, but he opened up the offense so much. He got passes to everyone. People who were an afterthought for Bledsoe - Witten, Fasano, Crayton - all were getting the ball. He is a player.

The defense did let down somewhat, yes, but I think that's gonna happen when you get completely disheartened by getting turnovers yet seeing your offense do nothing with the ball.

Romo will make mistakes, but he is the quarterback to lead this team. I think he will become more and more comfortable with the system as he plays more, and I also believe that the coaches will learn to use his strengths (the shotgun, something Bledsoe was horrible at).

It is going to be a hard climb, but we are only 3 and 3 and we have a good schedule for the end of the year. Don't get disheartened, things are looking up.

You sound like an Aggie fan, "We will win the Big 12" when they can't even beat Baylor.

As much as I'd like to see it, Romo won't be starting next week.

He's made the mistakes of a guy seeing his first meaningfull playing time against a great defense in a desperation situation down by a huge margin where he has to force passes, but if you cant see the way he moves the offense and his ability to make throws you need to get your glasses readjusted.

You can't spot teams points and expect the playoffs.

This team needs to get hot out of the gate rather than play from behind.

I'm thinking so too. Parcells now has his game to point at and shut the media up about it.

I think he's wrong if he does. But that's what I think he'll do.

Exactly, and I think Romo gives us that.

You remember last year games like in Washington where we immediately fell behind because Bledsoe could get nothing going and turned the ball over? We never had a chance in games like that.

If Romo isn't the starter next week, I will be ticked. Yes, he made rookie mistakes, but he looked really good at times and it is pretty obvious Bledsoe is gonna get us 9-7.

Romo has a lot of potential but come on.

Our team was just flat gutted tonight. Horrible game.

My thoughts exactly.. But Drew will probably be on a short leash against Carolina.

If we play Romo the rest of the year we have a hard time winning any games. He's a TERRIBLE QB.

This is just like Quincy, and then Hutch all over again. Young QB comes in, plays terrible, loses the game, and 1/2 the board tries to spin it as a FAVORABLE PERFORMANCE.

WE GOT KILLED. When Bledsoe was in there, we were still in the game and he nearly got us more until he threw that pick. romo comes in, throws three completely ******** ints, and hands the giants 17 points. And people are comparing him to Favre. Ri-***-diculous.

I pray that parcells doesnt scrap the season for the sake of romo.
