Once TO gets back in there..and he will by the next game things will open up again...dont use today as an example and forget about the Carolina game...Gurode will also be back and he will put us where we were before. This loss will only motivate Romo...he is going to light up whomever we play...I still think T Glenn will play too...he will open some things up we havent had all year...

Once Newman, Ratliff and Watkins get back in there on defense you wont see Ball or Brown...Reeves will go back to the nickel...he will be the only weak spot on defense...roy obviously getting pulled or playing linebacker....you guys need to relax...we still have a shot....

It's nice to talk about the magical healing powers of the mighty Terrell Owens, but high ankle sprains are tricky ... there's no guarantee he'll be back by the divisional playoffs.

I don't like our chances without him ... in 6 quarters sans TO, we've scored 12 points. That's sad.

what worries me is what happens when owens retires cause Romo looks like an average to below average qb without owens

yeah...but Green Bay scored 34 without Driver and Jennings today...1 yard rushing for the entire game...a Cowboys record by the way...does the loss of one player cause an entire offense to implode?...sorry, i'm not buying that...they looked better against the Eagles:rolleyes: and that game was hideous to watch...the boys got some serious soul searching to do...they mailed it in today big time.

I agree that he opens up the O, but I'm praying to about every single religion that he's ready for the playoffs.

Yeah most guys get exposed when he leaves. The guy is a difference maker, its night and day without him in the line-up.

if Owens can't play in the divisional round then what?

The team has a pathetic frame of mind right now, coaches included...this team has been sleepwalking since the second half of the Green Bay game...they looked worse than Green Bay did against Chicago last weekend...not the stuff of champions...can you see NE laying a stinker like this one...in the end it's still a job and they do get paid...

Unfortunately, those were my thoughts also. But you can't totally blame Romo ... we have no WR's outside of Owens.

I'm ready to take back Craytons contract extension.

Today's game reminded me of Troy's game when Michael Irvin went down. No one was able to step up their game, and the Stepfret Williams of the world just couldn't get it done.

Relax, Romo was just going through the motions like everybody else. I put very little stock into what I saw today.

Of course Romo will suffer if Owens leaves. Every great QB needs great Wr(s). Ok, except Brady.

That is why we may have to go offense-happy on draft day or make a trade for Roy Williams/L Fitzeglad.

Romo was average but his receivers did not help him today. Dropped passes and even receivers being bumped by the corner before the ball getting there resulting in an interception.:bang2: I question his decision making in these last few weeks. He had at worst a first down when were down 10-0. He has the running ability to get first downs and touchdowns. Why he doesn't use it anymore is beyond me. I think Hurd was pretty good today and he has potential.

He's right.

Teams do lose players all year. Washington and NY understand this. But here's the difference in holding our our players.

If this happened and we needed to win, then we definitely scheme to cover the butts of players like Ball. We didn't.

On offense, I think we would've been a bit more creative if this game meant something.

We played a basic scheme on both sides of the ball. We let scrub players hang on their own against a team that desperately needed a victory.

The outcome shouldn't have shocked us.

I am disappointed. I wanted to see us whip the Skins with a basic game plan and scrub players.

But it didn't happen.

And stop saying that we'll regret this.....Minny lost....no matter what we would've done, Washington would be in. And frankly, I'd be more nervous playing a team that we've beaten twice....the thought of facing the Giants scares me.

.

Should we forget about the Eagles and Lions games too? And is it a given TO will be back and at 100%?

Even Brady needs good receivers. You can throw the ball perfect but if your WR sucks you end up looking like poo at the end of the day.

Brady made it to the AFC championship game last year with no decent receivers.
