This doesn't even take into account that zeke is #2 on rushing also

Honestly if we had #1 rusher and #1 scoring defense and missed the playoffs?

That would be historically shameful

Sadly it hasn’t translated to wins like we thought it would.
It’s the defense we always dreamed of,....two years too late.

Now that our defense is top 5 why can't our offense get it together?

Garrett has been our OC and head coach for many years now. He has been settling for field goals and conservative play calling for many years. Romo succeeded because he changed the plays at the LOS.

Thus the main issue has been with Garrett and his super simply playbook. We get rid of Garrett our offense will improve. It's that simple.

If we end the season with the number one ranked defense, or even in the top 3, and miss the playoffs............dont see how you can keep the coaches.

Of course this is Jerry we are talking about so any rational thought goes out the window.

So basically in the history of the NFL, post merger, only one time has a team with the number one scoring defense missed the playoffs.

And we very well could be number two after this year......................wow

Nah with our luck the Commanders will win the Super Bowl this year, making every other team in our division a Super Bowl champion this century (hell, this DECADE) except us. Book it.

The bye did help. but the fact is the only team within 30 points of us, in terms of points allowed, that has played an extra game is the Ravens. All the other teams that have played 8 games are 35 points + higher than us

point being our defense has been doing a really good job putting us in positions to win and we still have a losing record. It's difficult to watch

I'm confident in the offense. Even without an Austin, the team can still put it together...and Cooper doesn't hurt.
