You can only believe so much of what Parcells says. You have to observe what is going on and what has happened in the past to judge what is really happening.

I predict that by week 4 Fujita will be the starting Strongside OLB (the position that all reports I have read say he played in KC). Right now it is your speculation vs. my speculation...we'll talk about it again in a few weeks.

Well probably before then but I'll try to wait :p:

DICK VERMEIL: “In regard to losing a Scott Fujita, you as media as well as the fans of Kansas City recognize we’re losing an outstanding young man, not only a real good football player. You talk about some guy fitting what we call the Chiefs profile. He’s a special human being and is going to a good organization and (Dallas coach) Bill (Parcells) is a good friend of mine and he knows how I feel about him. He’ll make a real good contribution and will fit into their new ‘30’ scheme as an outside linebacker and rush linebacker. We are happy for him. We will miss him and he is a solid person in every way: in the locker room and the field and in the community. He and his wife are super people.

Hmmm.:D

Gurode is going nowhere. We trade Gurode then we have no one else on the team with experience playing Center.

We have 6 CBs so I'd expect one of those to go.

We have 9 DL, 9 LB'ers and NO ONE backing up RW or Davis and you think we will cut a DB next (when one can play safety in nick)? I don't see it at all. Have to cut someone in the front 7, plus cut or trade Morgan.

Ogbogu is a gonner and when we sign a safety copper will be gone. i'd keep morgan for depth purposes. we're still below the cap, and he's a quality player who is still the second faster receiver on the team behind glenn. i believe we have enough corners, lbs, and tight ends for the special teams to work without copper.

1)Ogs other than Ware is the only 4/3 3/4 pass rusher on the team behind Ware. If Thornton made team I might agree with you

2) Ogs is an integral ST player

3) Ditto copper on ST- Morgan can't

4) Its Als after Fujita trade that is on the cutting block

Yes Vermeil's comments are interesting.

What I find interesting about the depth chart is that they have Ware/Ogbogu on the left when they have been playing on the right all Preseason. In fact the entire front seven is reversed from what they have been playing. So does that mean he will start out on the left or does it mean he will start out behind Ware and Ogbogu (who actually play on the right)? Also I notice that it still lists Lance Frazier who has been gone for weeks and Jeff Robinson. With those glaring errors I'm not going to take it as gospel.

Sorry I just can't believe that a player with Fujita's credentials was brought in to be a backup when we have Singleton starting.

Someone on the ranch just posted a JJT article that says that Quincy Morgan has been released.

Guorde isn't going anywhere. He will share time at center with Johnson, and will be a backup at guard in an emergency.
