Defense and run games travel...we gave both going for us right now...keep it up and fix the run defense and this team has a legit shot vs just a paper tiger like years past

Yeah SF looks kind of nice right now too.
SF lays too many eggs against bottom feeders.

If they won the games they were supposed to, i.e. Atlanta and Denver, they would be 6-2, but Shanahan is like Harbaugh in that way

The "pundits" are jumping back on the SF bandwagon with Philly.

Man I sure hope nobody from this forum would jump ship to Philly or SF lol.... possibly the worst 2 teams you could leave Dallas for.

True, but with CMC they are effectively a different team now. That said, how wise is it to rely on an injury prone player?

If healthy, they’re dangerous, for sure.

The reasons the panthers don’t have dmc is because he is always hurt. “Can’t make the club in the tub”

He is a good player, but has he even finished the last 2 seasons?

He will be banged up by the playoffs most likely.

Therefore…Cowboys rule!

Well, they have had some injuries and they tried to play Lance. They are rounding into form and definitely deserve to be thought of as a top 3 team in the NFC at this moment.

Just have to punch a playoff ticket and take advantage of the opportunity. This team does look like one of the top NFC teams. However, thats happened under Garrett and Wade and it didn't matter in reaching the Super Bowl.

SF is better than Philly, imo.

This is going to get interesting as we go here. The eagles have another bye week this week but then it gets a little harder for them. I am secretly hoping for a Jets (can't remember what year) type collapse where they started out 10-0 and then didn't win another game and missed the playoffs lol

I agree enjoy it. But we were 6-1 last year and went 6-4 to close the regular season then laid an egg in 1st playoff game.

To say we're a top 2 team in the conference is way premature

We have the exact same record at this point last year. Having said that it felt like we peaked right around that NE game when Dak hurt his calf on the last play. This season we haven’t even hit our stride yet it feels like.

It is different this time. Those teams defense was ware and Sean lee. We have all 3 phases in place and Brady and Rodger are done,
