Yes, certain regular regular posters are conspicuously absent. I guess they're over at extremeskins with their comrades.

Trying to stop the run should start next week for sure. Hopefully Romo gets better every week. That is going to be a process.

You're right. This might be the best defensive front we see all year next week. Definitely going to be a test for this offensive line.

It was a "team" win. That's how championships are won. Not getting ahead of myself by any means. Just stating a fact. Execution and good team football almost always equals a W.

Its a blessing in disguise right now.....but soon as we get a injury on the line or when teams start playing us for the run and forcing Romo to throw? It might not be a blessing.

As of right now i'd let Romo beat me. That's the approach i'd take.

Titans did play the run and couldn't stop it

No, they are just busy neatly folding and packing away their T-shirts that say "Our Defense/Romo/Claiborne Sucks". That takes time, you know.

I'm still keeping my Claiborne sucks T. :D He's not winning my approval with one game. I certainly hope he does by seasons end though. It would be great to see him play up to his expectation.

Yeah, I'm not putting him in the Ring of Honor. I just think the people saying he was a definite bust are premature. He seems like a guy who is fine in Man but below average in Zone. And even playing a good game today he still didn't lock up the WR on the touchdown play.

Calling him a bust is laughable..... He would have to stink it up for two more years.

I hear you. Although, I think the term "bust" is used in light for where he was drafted and what was given. It usually takes the most gifted of CB's 3 years to be good starters. However, I still don't see anything that merits a 1st and 2nd round pick. Especially seeing the gaping needs in our defense. To be honest, I didn't like the tape I watched before he was drafted. He's slow to react to the ball in space (zone). That's what I didn't like and that's what he is still terrible at. Wikipedia that years draft. A lot of talent passed up for a guy who has a learning curve.

It would have been difficult to tackle the TE Walker who had a full head of steam. He's got about 60 pounds on Claiborne.

We can still gain yards against a run defense... We have been missing this.

This isnt a surprise. Green Bay raved about Dallas run game last year without Martin on the O Line. This O Lone needs to be leaned on.

They played it at the end but their defense by then was deflated. And when they put Griffith in the box I believe he came and tackled either Demarco or Dunbar in the backfield.
I was impressed by how the Cowboys were still effectively running the football even everyone knew they were running.

Cowboys are a decent team right now, if Romo can get better they will be a good team and if he gets back to last year they are a serious threat barring a rash of injuries.

That was a dominant game by the Cowboys.

It looked like the good ole days. Defense, special teams, run game, and timely 3rd down conversions.

That is football right there.
