We are what we thought we were

I think the point most fans miss because the media doesnt bring it to their attention is simple. Green Bay had some serious injuries, the Cowboys did not. The Boys lose one offensive player and their qb is sacked, 4, 5 times easily?

Why are we not exploiting injuries like other teams do? Why do we not go after the injured prey. Once Columbo went down, GB stuffed that side allowing our other side to crumble and it did. They knew Flo cant take a speed rusher, so they exploit it.

Why does Dallas continue to not exploit these injuries?

I guess, and that's just me as an football outsider talking, you can't really compare starting backups due to injuries and reacting to injuries in a game. In the first case you can prepare these guys properly and adjust your game plan. If your starter goes down in a game, I guess they don't have an alternative game plan for this case. They kinda adjust on the fly (coaches and the player) which can't be as good as preparing a whole week.
So I doubt that Scandrick will be that kind of a liability he was yesterday. And I doubt that Free will be a big concern next week.

Is anyone sold on Minnesota because I'm not. I know they are 8-1 but their level of competition has not been that great. So far they played GB X 2, Cleveland, Det X 2, Balt, Pitt, San Fran, St. Louis. Their only loss to the only good team they played at Pittsburgh. I know people are gonna say Green Bay is comp because they beat us but I look at those two games as emotion driven wins because of Favre. I am just not sold on them yet. I still need to see them win against a good team before I am ready to say they are head and shoulders above everyone else.

They are good but not great they will make the playoffs but i think they will lose right away.

Yep, a 6-3 team at the top of our Division is what we are.

I just don't understand why Cowboys fans just cannot give another good team credit for a win.

Geebus, some of you people actually thought we were going 14-2 and headed to the Super Bowl.

The Cowboys are a good football team and will be in the Playoff Hunt throughout the course of the Season.

Honestly, some times I think our huge success in the "past" is a curse.

Possibly.

However, we have a good chance of playing Atlanta or Philadelphia in the 1st Round, 2 teams which we have beaten already.

On a good day i think we could play with anyone and win on a bad day would could easily lose to someone like the Lions.

We have the talent, i know this is a cliche at this point but you see it when everything is clicking, we're lacking something else focus, discipline, who knows. We just can seem to be consistent.

If we where really good, teams would have to bring their A game when they played us. You can't have anything short of a perfect game against a team like the Colts or Pats if you want to win and they've been this good for a while now but more importantly they been this good consistently.
More often then not teams bring their B or C game when they play us and we play down to that. We hardly ever match our opponents intensity and until we weed out some of the weak spots on this team (cough o line cough) that won't change and we'll never be better then what we are right now, a team that is capable of getting hot and beating anyone but is just as capable of losing to the lions.

Eh its a parity league and the big dogs aren't much better than the Cowboys of the league.

Thats why 2 Wildcard teams played for all the marbles last year.

Yeah, I agree.

I predicted 11-5 with a shot at 12 wins if things went right. I thought we'd be 10-6 at worst unless we had massive injuries or horrific luck.
Looking like 10-11 wins, but so many things can happen between now and January. The key is to make the playoffs and remain relatively healthy.
There is no GREAT team. A few very good ones, but nothing unbeatable. When Dallas plays its "A-Game", which can happen any given Sunday, they can beat anyone.
6-3 with 3 tough losses is frustrating, but nothing to be ashamed of, and there is certainly room for improvement (not like the team is playing over its head or something).

Having said all that, the next 2 games are critical to set us up for a playoff spot.

I thought we were the Dallas Cowboys currently 6-3 one game up in the NFC East. A team that still has a lot of work ahead of them to get to where they want to be.
