who's to say we can't beat the Panthers?

A rebound win on the road and a strong win at home could be just what the doctor ordered for the playoffs...

The teams above us are not THAT good... we beat the Giants and then only lost to them by 7 in their house playing our worst game of the season (until last night) gift wrapping the game winning TD. The Seahawks are beatable in their house (we and the Giants should have done it).

There is no certainty in this league and it is just as good a chance that we win Saturday as lose a close one.... I highly doubt we get blown out... once a game gets away from a team there isn't much they can do (especially when you have Parcells coaching - Mr. Conservative calling for a punt on 4th and 1 down by 28 - not even speaking to the team at halftime - laughable)

Carolina is not that great... they lost to the 3-11 SAINTS AT HOME for starters, lost to the 7-7 Dolphins, got embarrassed by the Bears while scoring only 3, and just lost to Tampa AT HOME by 10!... not to mention eeking out wins vs: the lowly 4 win (10 loss) Bills by 4, 4 win (10 loss) Detroit Lions 21-20, 4 win (10 loss) Arizona by 4 and a very depleted 4 win (10 loss) Green Bay by 3.

Tell me this game isn't ripe for a huge REBOUND. ;)

We win this game IN SPITE of Parcells

we almost lost to San Fran, got swept by the Skins, lost to oakland....

Somebody's always gotta be there to pi$$ in your Kool-aid.

Beat San Diego IN SD, CRUSHED Philly, beat the Giants, beat the #1 Offense KC, should have beaten the #2 & 3 ranked teams: Denver & Seattle... a roller coaster season :(

I like your thinking and I agree with you 100%. This isn't a gimme for Carolina, but we sure as hell have to play MUCH, MUCH better to win. If Carolina just lines up and blitzes all day we are going to be in trouble.

This team is dead. The OL sux. The secondary is beat up. The front 7 has been exposed.

Put a fork in them - they're done.

Dang, you've been in a bad mood today Bach. When we win out and make it to the playoffs I'm gonna remember 12/19/05. :lmao2:

You can't think that way (I guess you can, you can think however you want...)

Just saying, they're 8-6. Much stranger things have happened.

I hope you get a chance to remind me. I just don't see it happening.

Our O-Line sez we won't win this week. You think Peterman and/or Gurode will make a better guard that Rivera? You think Tucker is going to sprout wings this week?

Peppers is chompin' at the bit. Bledsoe better get an extra cushion for his buttocks because he's gonna need it.

After what we saw last week I really don't expect to see us do much passing. I believe that no matter how ineffective our running game is we will run in this one a whole lot and try to let the defense win this one.

Especially after the performance of the line last week I say we trust them to do nothing as far as pass protecting goes. We have to leave atleast 7 in to protect and we have to pass off of playaction the majority of the time I think to be succesful.

We've seen the line play better than they did last week if they can just be halfway decent for this game we do have a shot to win.

Totally agree. It only takes one game to be exposed and then other teams will follow.

To beat the boys, all you have to do is all out blitz, and on offense, run sweeps to either side.

Sorry Caesar....it's the Ides of March. We're on the road. Our O-Line will have 5 false starts and 2 holding calls in our first fifteen offensive plays. Bledsoe will be seeing stars in the daytime as he wonders what that truck was that just ran over him. And how could I forget, Julius Jones will have 14 yards rushing on 8 attempts.

lol that was funny I will give you that.

Yeah, Im not gonna lie, I really dont understand why people are so quick to count us out of the Carolina game.

I still believe outside of the Colts, the Cowboys can beat any team in the NFL.

You all have to....scratch that...must go with the odds.

We have played 14 Games and were destroyed only once. Gotta go with the odds that this doesnt happen again.

Heck, Carolina may overlook us because I think they have Atlanta after us.

We are still mathematically in it, so I dont expect the team to mail it in just yet. And really, wouldnt that be sad if the Players and the Coaching staff laid and egg and the Giants and Skins have a meltdown, along with some of the other Wild Card opponents.
