I am not crazy about the pick either but lets see what Marinelli can do with him. He thinks LVE is Brian Urlacher 2.0. If he is 90% of Urlacher, he'll b a really good player.

My concern is what I saw at the combine. LVE looked slower and less athletic than the other LBs that worked out. But he could make it up with instincts and determination. I have to hope even more that Jaylon Smith is really recovering from his knee injury 3 years ago.

Supposedly, he's the best coverage linebacker. Whens the last time this staff got the most out of the defensive player?
They moved Wilber all over the place. Jaylon played 2 spots last year. Byron gets moved around. Also, they thought Jaylon Ramsey was a safety. That tells you everything you need to know.
